Chapter 269 - Storm Brewing

Days passed, then weeks. 

Before Henry knew it, it had been nearly a month and they were slowly approaching Hydrogia's outskirts. In days they would be in front of the king, treasures in hand. 

Henry knew his appearance had changed. He had lost weight but he felt more muscular. He already knew his skin was darker and he couldn't help dark thoughts that he would be judged harshly in front of the nobles for it. 

He only knew of his state because whenever he saw the commander, he saw those things in him as well. 

During the duration of the trip, they hadn't seen more than a few goblins and harmless dire wolves, though protocol said they had to kill them regardless due to the risk they posed to humans.
