Polona was soon going to be just a memory.
The crept further and further up the mountains until the valley which Polona and Nickron lie in was completely out of their view and there were only rocks and the occasional tree on all sides.
It felt nice not to have to find shelter each night and the men could sleep with the sky above them lulling them to sleep instead of the inside of a rock cave or the crawling wooden pattern of tree roots as they camped underneath a large tree.
They were assuredly going to wake up with the sun from now on and be at the mercy of the elements, but there was no denying this this time of year was beautiful from any part of Peroda.
