The knights downed two more mugs of ale before they left the pub and subjected themselves to the cooler dusk air of Idona.
In the village, people seemed to be early risers. The streets weren't crowded and the only noises were a breeze rustling the leaves and pine needles of the trees and animals hiding in the depths of the dense forest.
Despite the lack of people on the street, there were still plenty drinking away at the pub and that was most of the reason for the knights leaving.
Henry had been feeling melancholic when they were first in the pub but his mood lightened the more he drank. However, the more he drank, the more he was willing to talk to the people around him. He started saying things that could pin them as knights so it was the commander who ultimately decided to leave.
He forced Henry to put on his makeshift bag and they left.
