Chapter 249 - Who Am I?

Henry stood steadfastly next to Sylaron from the moment the commander left. He had put his things next to the dragon and occasionally walked around her with his back to her to make sure there wasn't a single being approaching.

Standing also helped him stay awake. If he sat still for too long, he was paranoid he might fall asleep and miss something that could put the dragon further into harm's way. 

Much to his relief, even at night, the monsters stayed far away from the dragon. Being the strongest beast in Polona, even the most dimwitted of goblins wouldn't attempt to steal gold from a dragon. 

Henry made it through the night, checking on the dragon's state occasionally. He made sure she was breathing and didn't need anything. He even offered her water even though he had never seen her drink anything before. 

As calm and peaceful as night and early morning were as the sun barely peeked over the horizon, Henry realized they would soon have a problem.
