The men had two bags full of the metal and had taken the magical orb with them - Henry wrapping it up and carefully placing it in his bag to keep it hidden from prying eyes in case they came across more mercenaries. He felt underlying guilt after knowing a dragon. He wasn't taking it out of a desire for wealth but needing to prove that he had what it took to be considered a great knight. It was his token for being in Polona.
"I'm never telling anyone about that place," Henry said quietly. "I'll consider it a reward for going through Polona if anyone else ever finds it."
The commander nodded, wholeheartedly agreeing with Henry's sentiment. If no one had found the stash of riches in such a long time, no one deserved to have it.
