The knights woke up that day with a new perspective and motivation on their journey.
However, as soon as they both had their camp packed up for the day, they stared at each other in confusion. The priorities seemed to have shifted because of the events of the day before.
"What is our plan now?" the commander asked
Callum had been allowing him to take the lead, but the moment Henry climbed out of the cave's opening, he looked around with an expression laden with confusion.
"I'm… not sure," Henry said. "It's time to look for the metal again, I suppose. Though I'm not going back to the other side of the mountain."
Henry turned around and looked at the mountain they had slept at the bottom of the night before. He didn't want to go back to the top either considering they had to dehydrate themselves in order to make it there.
He quickly reminded himself that he wasn't in Polona for it to be easy and he started on his path forward.
