The following morning, the knights resumed their attempts at going up the mountain but it was the same result as before.
'Stop!' the voice shouted in Henry's mind, causing him to grab the side of his head and glare down at what was seemingly a rock.
In a state of frustration, he shouted, "I don't know what you want me to do!"
The commander was equal parts annoyed and amused. From an outside perspective, Henry was shouting at a rock. He wondered if the pair who were following them had noticed the same thing. There wasn't a way they hadn't seen the large stone that Henry carried with him like it was a living being.
He wanted to go back onto the mountain so they would stop watching again but if the egg had another plan, there wasn't much else to do.
"If we go around…" Henry trailed off.
The knight stood there, with his arms crossed over his chest as he observed their surroundings.
