Commander Lothian watched Henry push himself away from the wall and show unbelievable determination.
He thought back to when they first met. Henry was so thin and unable to make eye contact, feeling he wasn't worthy to walk the same ground that the Knights of Hydrogia did.
Callum had been so hard on Henry in the beginning, pushing him to see if he was cut out for what it would take to be a knight. The commander didn't like how much Henry had been reminded of how he once was. Now there they stood together facing monsters. He trusted Henry to have his back on the battlefield.
The knight throwing himself in the face of danger was the same as he was before but with the skills to back up his actions.
However, it was Henry holding back when he thought they couldn't take the goblins and ogre together that showed just how much he had grown. He showed restraint so that his actions wouldn't be wasted. He would make a good leader of a knighthood one day.
