"Henry. Wake up."
The knight dreamt of a comfortable bed and bedding made of silk. There was a blonde visitor in his dreams laying in his arms.
He had slept so horribly the night before that he found it easy to fall into slumber despite all the noises of Polona.
When he returned to reality, he heard the commander calling him and he felt the hard ground underneath him. Though he was laying on top of wool blankets, it made hardly any difference whatsoever for someone of his weight.
There was a storm outside that still hadn't let up, just as the commander had predicted. Luckily, the opening of the cave faced slightly downward so didn't have any issue being flooded in.
Henry opened his eyes and stretched out, a yawn impolitely escaping his lips. He felt his back crack and he sat up.
"It's already time?" Henry asked, exasperated. "I can't believe it's still raining."
"I was even being generous," Callum shot back.
