Chapter 190 - A Near Miss

After the night of the Winter Solstice Celebration, the Crown Prince had been on Princess Marie's case even more than before. His insistence that she was bringing shame to the Royal Family because of her closeness with the peasant knight only got worse when he saw the way they interacted with one another in front of others. 

He had been hurling insults at her about how unladylike she was and how she didn't deserve the titles God had given her. 

It got to a point that, the only way the princess could find peace, was to be sent off to the duchy in which the duchess lived which had been teaching her etiquette for most of her life.

The trip in each direction was a few days and, after spending five days with the duchess, the princess assured her that she was able to return to court life.
