Henry picked out everything in large quantities, moving through the shop and placing everything on the counter so the shopkeeper could keep track of what they were picking up.
He moved around the shop with a focused expression on his face and the commander leaned against the counter as he watched the knight dutifully buy everything his mother and aunt needed.
However, once Henry had everything stacked on the counter, he started going through the pouch at his side but the commander held up his hand.
"We've already paid," he said. "Let's go."
The commander felt guilty that he came along out of curiosity while Henry went there only to have more work given to him. It was the least he could do.
Henry's eyes widened.
"You didn't have to do that, commander," Henry argued. "I'm perfectly capable of buying these things myself."
"I didn't say you weren't," the commander responded. "How do you imagine we carry all of this back?"
