Henry regrettably had to break the kiss and he glanced at the doorway.
He couldn't be sure that no one would catch them. Whenever she was next to him, he lost sight of all else knowing they were safe from monsters in the castle. However, they weren't safe from people and that was an entirely different beast, in Henry's opinion.
"We should go," Henry said quietly. "Even though I would rather spend the entire banquet in here. I don't think anyone else would approve."
The princess smiled up at the handsome knight and her pale cheeks held a natural blush. Was he admitting to rather be kissing her than attending a party? He was different than the men who normally spent time around her. They would rather be in the presence of other nobles so they could flaunt themselves and her in some way.
