In only a couple of days, Henry received his clothing. It was delivered by hand from an apprentice in the tailor's shop. Apparently, the tailor was so busy before the banquet that he sent a letter with the clothing. He apologized for not showing up himself but that he looked forward to seeing how it looked at the banquet.
After that, Henry put the clothing into the wooden trunk he kept the rest of his clothing and thought nothing else of it for the few days until he was required to wear it.
What Henry was most interested in was the clothing that had been repaired.
Sure enough, there wasn't even the scent of blood left on it. On the quilted navy blue coat, he couldn't even tell where it had been damaged and the seam had been masterfully hidden in the quilted pattern of it.
