A flash of blonde hair blocked the sunlight coming in front of the hallway for a moment and Henry thought he was imagining something. There was only one person around who looked like that but he thought he was imagining things - his brain not allowing him a moment of peace. It had to play tricks on him, too.
He tried to re-immerse himself in the conversations going on around him but could feel someone's gaze and he couldn't focus any longer.
She was like an angel backlit with heavenly light. He couldn't stop the smile on his face at the sight of her. How she seemed happy to see him of all the knights in the room, he would never understand.

To his surprise, she gestured for him to come forward and he gave a quick nod in response.
