Marx Skylar! He hasn't heard that name for a long time. A glint flashed across Stephane's eyes.
"Do you know Marx?" Amaya looked up. Her voice brought him back to his senses and he put the spoon in his mouth.
"Yes, we knew each other a long time ago. We went to the same high school." He replied nonchalantly.
"Oh, that's great. I will tell Marx the next time we talk to each other." Amaya peeped into the grey eyes but Stephane was looking down at his plate. He paused for a moment before he said, "There is no need. He might not remember me. Besides we are not that close." His voice turned cold.
Amaya and Julienne were surprised to hear the iciness in his voice but they pretended not to notice. After that, they continued to eat in silence.
