'Marry her! What I am thinking.' Marx was horrified at his thought. Was he still the same man who considered women to be a nuisance? But they were still a nuisance to him, except for the young woman sitting across him.
"Go to sleep. Aren't you taking the admission exam tomorrow?" Marx looked at Amaya with a deep gaze.
"Are you driving me away?" Amaya pouted.
"No, I am not. I am just worried that you might be tired and will not do good in the exam tomorrow." He breathed deeply. 'This woman, doesn't she know how much I wanted to keep her by my side?'
Amaya stood up, went around the stone table, and held Marx's wrist. He tugged at him gently. "Come, I will give you something."
Marx stood up and followed Amaya. He looked at the small hand that held his wrist and felt a warmth radiating from his hand and traveling through the rest of his body.
