Lyre left the bathroom three hours later.
It has been so long since he last swam, and he missed that.
Most importantly, he missed his tail. However, he doesn't know how he can get that back. It was still confusing how he wasn't able to change despite the time he spent in the small stream.
He dried his body with the towel and wore the comfy pyjamas Rain brought out for him.
Lyre lay on the bed and rested his head on the pillow. He closed his eyes for a bit and joined his hands.
This was how he stayed for thirty or so minutes before he rose from the bed.
Try all he can, he just couldn't sleep. His mind kept on going back to what happened in the afternoon.
It was as if the kiss somehow reformatted his brain.
He walked to the door, only to stop.
"No, I can't do this." He shook his head as he walked back a bit. "I can't do this."
Despite the urge he had in him to go look for Rain, he knew it wasn't right.
