She said as she started moving around me, trying to catch the string of golden letters. She was able to see them. I watched as she was prancing around the golden characters, laughing, giggling, and raising her tiny arms, attempting to catch those letters.

-BADUMP-
A strange sensation rose up in my mind. My lips curled upwards, I was smiling. I sat there, leaning on the trunk of the tree, watching the small kid. After prancing around a few times, she was breathing deeply and I could see the sweat on her face. She was probably what people called 'tired'.
But then suddenly she turned around and looked at me. Then as I watched her smiling face, I remembered the small child who was just born. The smile on that child's face when she touched my fingers. I wanted to ask her name, but something was stopping me from opening my mouth. But as if someone had heard my thoughts.
"Lily? Come here dear, it's time to go home." Another voice called out.
I looked in the distance and I could see a lady calling out to the girl in front of me. It was then my guess was confirmed. She was indeed the same child. The kid turned her head toward the lady and said.
"Coming, Omma."
Then she looked towards me and continued.
"Ahjussi, will you be still here tomorrow? I will convince Omma to bring me here tomorrow too."
Her eyes were locked on me. I raised my lips and returned a smile to her.
"LILY DEAR?" The lady called again.
The small kid took small steps as she reached me, touching my hand she handed me something. As soon as her small fingers touched me, I heard a small explosion in my mind. The golden characters floating around started flickering and dimming.
I sat there watching the kid run toward the lady. Just before she was about to leave, the kid turned around and stuck out her tongue toward me, flashing a smile. But nothing could register in my mind as there was an intense string of explosions continuing in my mind. The golden string of characters flickered rapidly and then returned back to the book. The book closed shut and fell down on the ground. By this time the explosions in my brain had subsided.
Death: It was hard this time. We had to force a way back. What is that thing?
Life: Something that is strong which can block us from perceiving a living being can only be a machination of the Lord.
Death: True that.
The thoughts were freely conversing in my mind. It seemed they were the reason behind the string of explosions in my mind. Then I remembered something that was handed to me by the small kid.
I opened my palms and there was a small crystalline rock wrapped in a transparent sheet. It was pink in color. I held it with my fingers and moved it against the sun. The rays of light passed through the rock coloring my face pink.
Death: Hmm, what is he holding?
Life: Seems like something that kids eat.
This time the meaning behind their conversation was conveyed to me. This made me realize what the thing was for. I twisted my body a bit and picked up the book lying on the ground, placing it on my lap. After that, I carefully undid the transparent sheet covering the crystalline rock. I opened the book and found the empty pages. I kept the sheet between one of the pages and closed the book.
Then I brought the crystalline rock towards my mouth and carefully placed it on my tongue. Then suddenly, a wave of shock traveled through my body. This sensation was somewhat familiar yet distant to me. It was as if I had experienced something like this before but I couldn't remember when.
I took out the crystalline rock from my mouth and noticed its size had decreased slightly. I then tossed it again in my mouth and slowly it disappeared until there was not even a trace of it left. It was as if such a thing didn't even exist in the first place. Then I remembered the transparent sheet covering that rock. I opened the book lying on my lap and found that even the transparent sheet was missing.
Then I tried to recall which way the kid and that lady went, I traced that path and started walking. The path led me towards a gate, which divided this small 'Park' and the area outside. I moved my foot towards the gate and then the voice was back.
Karma: Leave this place.
My foot which was in the air fell down as a rainbow-colored path appeared in front of me and with an ounce of confusion I moved inside. Just when the opening to the path was about to close, the book on my waist fluttered open and a small golden character left the book disappearing in the place outside the path.
It didn't stop there, another string of golden characters detached themselves from the book and entered my forehead. A memory that I had almost forgotten surfaced from the depths of my mind. I remembered the small hut, the warmth of the soup, and the conversation I had with the person from the hut who had handed me the book.
Then I remembered the lady along with the small kid. She was the mother of that child, the child's father, and lastly the name of the child, Lily. Along with the memories, the sensations followed. I placed my right hand on my chest and I could sense a strong pulsating heart.

Just then--
[Traveler, the time has come. The accumulated power in the book is enough. Using the power the guide will slice through the connection you have with these entities. So you will no longer travel aimlessly around the world.]
-Boom-
A low booming sound reverberated in my mind and I could sense something leaving my body. Before I could think more, the voice returned.
[There are some things that I cannot explain now, but the next location you are about to go to will let you know everything.]
After that, a very huge amount of golden characters left the book and disappeared somewhere.
