Chapter 56 - Leaders aren’t born, they are made

"Do you really have to go when you just got here?"

"Unfortunately I do. I've been here for almost 2 weeks already. If my mother finds out where I am, I'm going to be in real trouble hehe."

"I'm going to miss you. You promise to message me often ok? And I'll message you when Vasari returns from his mission."

Hannah had a tender smile on her face while talking to the 4 stunning young women standing across from her. They all had pouty lips and gloomy eyes since today was the day she would be leaving back to her Glacier Bay Sect.

This past week and a bit, were some of the most enjoyable days of her life. She got to meet girls that she already considered her little sisters, even though their gap in cultivation and age was massive, it didn't stop them from developing a strong sisterhood. This was all possible due to one man who easily stole the hearts of all 5 women.

Hannah spent a few more minutes saying her farewells to the girls who also saw her as their older sister who kept everyone glued together.

"Don't forget what I told you, girls. The 5 of us is enough for him." The girls nodded In determination and waved goodbye to Hannah.

Hannah made her way back to the cloud stables to fetch her Frozen Eagle. She didn't forget to give Elder Equus 20ml of Frozen Eagle blood essence as payment for the information as well as keeping her visit a secret.

She then left the Cloud Haven Sect the same way she came in.

Witney: "I'm going to miss big sister so much. She is sooooo cool and she even helped us with our cultivation."

Jiang Xia: "Her beauty is unmatched as well. Her status as the number 1 ranked Fairy is not without merit."

Talia: "Did Vasari call you back yet, Witney?"

Witney: "No not yet. What if he is trouble and he is stuck there all alone?"

Gia: "He went to a world where the cultivation culture is still in its initial stages so I doubt he would run into many problems. If I had to guess he probably has the women over there going crazy."

In one of the many family parks in the Outer Haven, a group of 7 boys sat around a table.

Timo: "So what's the situation with operation: point exploit? We haven't made a trade this entire week."

Jude: "We ran out of pictures to trade. Without him being here we can't take more pictures."

Timo: "Well that's just freaking perfect. How are we going to get cloud points now?"

Alex: "You could perform well in practicals and tests like normal students."

Timo, Asher, DT, Jaxon, Jett and even Jude looked at Alex as if they were looking at the dumbest man on the continent.

"Pah I bet you're on cloud 9 now that Vasari is gone. Now you can 'try' to get Talia to like you back." Sharp-mouthed as ever, Timo mocked Alex who glared at him with threatening eyes.

Alex closed his eyes, calmed his emotions and took a sip of his green tea. "First of all, whether Vasari is here or not makes no difference to me. He is just a no-name country bumpkin with some potential, Talia's father would never allow her to be with him. Secondly, Talia and I are destined to be together so Vasari's presence is inconsequential to the outcome."

"Ok, man keep telling yourself that. I bet right the God of Handsomeness has a devoted follower moaning in his arms right this very second."

Meanwhile on Planet Voxotis, inside the fifth mountain of the Draynora Mountain range…

"Aha aha aha~ yes Vasari you're so rough~"

Hiromi was positioned on all fours with her ass in the air and her arms in front of her as Vasari mounted her from behind and fucked her with long strokes reaching her deepest parts.

The two had been going at it for nearly 6 hours and only took a few minutes to rest between each climax. Hiromi took the liberty of teaching him all she heard from her junior sisters at the Aqua Poppy Sect. Vasari was enjoying these new positions he was trying with Hiromi. Though he knew about these positions from the Dance of Dragons technique, he didn't want to try these positions with Witney. He thought it might be too degrading for a woman of her status but maybe he was wrong.

"Oh my…Vasari…you're so deep~" Hiromi lay there helplessly while taking Vasari's massive rod.

They continued their debaucherous acts for another 20 minutes before they reached another climax and collapsed into each other's embrace.

"Vasari you're amazing…" Hiromi barely managed to let out a whisper before falling asleep on his body. Vasari softly chuckled and put his hand on her back before circulating his yang inside of her as per the method he learnt from the Dance of Dragons dual cultivation technique.

Almost instantly he could feel her skin become softer yet tougher, her muscles stronger and the Supreme Qi in her body flowed through her meridians with much more ease.

*snore*

'How cute.' Vasari thought when he heard Hiromi's soft snoring. He already decided to take her back with him to the Cloud Haven Sect once he completes the mission.

–––––

"Wow, Vasari. My body feels so much lighter! Hahahaha!" Skipping around like a little girl, Hiromi happily pranced around the cavern they were in. Her hair was untied, and the only piece of clothing she wore was a large oversized shirt she got from Vasari. Earlier, she woke up in Vasari's arms with a huge smile on her face. 'Last night wasn't a dream!'

She couldn't see it now, but her appearance was looking slightly better than before. However, she did notice how much stronger and faster she felt and also how smoothly her Qi flowed compared to before.

She wasn't stupid and knew the reason for her improvement. She turned to Vasari who was seated comfortably on the blanket and had his confident smile that she had come to love and her eyes shone in a mischievous light. She ran up to him and jumped onto his lap while wrapping her arms and legs around him.

"Vasari~ let's do it more~" she looked up at him with puppy eyes and innocently blinked even though she knew he couldn't see it.

"Huh, but I want to get a move on and get out of this mountain."

"Vasariiiiii~ pleaseeeeee." She pleaded while grinding her little sister against his sleeping dragon in hopes of awakening his desire.

*PAH!*

"Eek!"

Vasari strongly slapped her butt cheeks and kneaded them roughly.

"Later. Now put on some panties so we can leave." Vasari said and patted her now red butt cheeks for her to get off.

"Humph meanie."

She reluctantly got off him and put on a fresh pair of panties. She didn't bother putting on her sect uniform and opted to continue wearing Vasari's shirt. Her nipples on her perky breasts slightly poked through the white t-shirt and her ass cheeks formed a sexy outline on the shirt.

Vasari threw on his black martial robes again, and the duo continued to travel deeper into the mountain in the hope of finding a way out.

They couldn't go out the same way they came in due to the crack Vasari entered being blocked due to the avalanche.

A week and many dual cultivation sessions later, Vasari and Hiromi eventually found a way out of the mountain. They continued their journey, transversing the remaining 11 mountains of the Draynora Mountain Range. This time Vasari did not go after every beast he could find but only went after Beta Stage beasts and left the Adult stage beasts to Hiromi for her to train against. Before, she struggled to fight against peak adult-stage beasts but after all her cultivation sessions with Vasari, she was doing much better. Although still currently weaker than Elemental Manipulation stage students at the Cloud Haven School, it was only a matter of time before she closed the gap and surpassed them with Vasari assisting her.

A month quickly passed and at the base of the largest and final mountain of the Draynora Mountain Range, Vasari and Hiromi had just arrived when they heard the sound of fighting coming from the peak of the 16th mountain.

"Don't tell me it's those guys from before. Ugh…I hate them." Hiromi's mood turned sour after thinking of that bald guy and the tall woman.

"Don't think too much about it. I'll make sure my little guide surpasses them." Vasari patted her head much to her satisfaction. "Let's get a move on."

Vasari felt that something important was hidden in this mountain and hoped it was the tomb so he could get home quicker.

–––––

A few minutes before Vasari and Hiromi arrived at the base of the 16th mountain, eight cultivators approached its peak.

All 8 had serious, focused expressions cemented on their faces and the atmosphere around them was tense, to say the least.

The man leading them turned to face his squad and his pink aniridia eyes scanned over each individual.

"Once we reach the top of this mountain, you will no longer have the luxury to back out. It's either we win or die trying, so I will not blame you if you want to leave now, but if you decide to stay, then I won't accept anything less than your 100 per cent commitment. We will be facing a beast with the bloodline of a dragon no matter how diluted and tainted it may be. This may be the toughest fight of our lives so far. Are you ready?"

Mason glanced at all 7 of his teammates, who had all fully healed from getting ambushed by the Mountain Crusher Mole. They used high-quality healing pills which cost an arm and leg, but considering one of them was actually missing an arm, it turned out to be worth it.

"Enough with this nonsense. None of us is leaving since we understand that if the tomb really is located here, the reward will be worth risking our lives for. Let's get this over with so I can find my love. I haven't seen him in over a month now." Allison spoke up and took her scorpion whip out from her spatial ring. She was pumped and ready to fight. Her fighting spirit uplifted the group's morale slightly and Mason subtly nodded at her to express his gratitude.

He knew he was not the best leader, but he was trying his best and willing to improve. As long as he kept practising and knew how to turn his losses into lessons then it will only be a matter of time before he became a respectable leader. There were those who were born to lead and those who were trained to lead. Mason definitely fitted into the latter category due to his inherently selfish behaviour that he was actively trying to get rid of.

"Come on then, if we are all ready, let's go!"

Mason took out a pink spear with a black blade from his spatial ring and continued walking up the mountain. The 7 cultivators behind him followed his footsteps and made their way to the mountain peak where they would be fighting a battle that could determine their future as a cultivator. Would they stay average, mediocre cultivators for the rest of their lives or take this amazing opportunity with both hands and potentially rise to the top?

It was all up to them.
