Chapter 61 - Alchemy

(This chapter contains R/18 scenes)

"It won't fit. It's too big."

"It will, trust me. You have to push harder."

"Ahhh, it's going to snap!"

"It's not! Keep on going, it's nearly in!"

"Arrggggghhhh!"

"It's in! You did it!"

"Huff…huff…"

Vasari's chest heaved up and down as he sprawled on the ground. His forehead was drenched in sweat, and his nostrils flared as it tried to inhale as much oxygen as possible.

"Who decided to make alchemy cauldrons so small? I just want to have a chat." Vasari complained after he caught his breath and sat up again.

Inside the large, open bedroom, Vasari and Joanna Mota sat opposite each with a small cauldron no bigger than an average-sized watermelon placed in between them. True to her word, Joanna Mota started teaching Vasari the basics of Alchemy.

Unlike formationists, alchemists did not require their sight to concoct products. Although it would certainly help in identifying ingredients, there was more than one way to identify ingredients and that was by using your other senses.

Vasari learnt that good control over mana was essential in becoming a good Alchemist. Despite not being able to control mana yet, there were plenty of theory and low-level pills which do not require mana to produce that Joanna has yet to teach him.

"That ingredient you just put into the cauldron is a Shiba stiff root. As the name implies, it's not the easiest root to bend or snap. It is one of the main ingredients for the bone-strengthening pill used for those in the Foundation Establishment realm. Since it's only a rank 1 pill you can concoct it using normal Qi. There are a total of 9 ranks for alchemical products. Rank 1 is the lowest quality and rank 9 is the highest. Each rank is further separated into low grade, high grade and peak grade."

This was information that Vasari already learnt about from Miss Covington but he had to stick to the script and act none this wiser.

"Now add 3 more Shiba stiff roots into the cauldron."

Vasari picked up another Shiba stiff root and frowned. So far bending this root was one of the greatest challenges of his cultivation journey so far. He only had to bend it about 10 degrees on either side to get it into the cauldron, but true to its name, it was very stiff.

"Why don't I teach you a little trick." Joanna Mota titters after seeing his face and decides to help him a little bit. Putting her dainty hands on top of his, she guided his hands across the root, "Put this hand here…and this hand here…now you twist…then bend."

With the help of Joanna, Vasari managed to bend the root much easier than before.

"Huh, so you hid this trick from me and watched me suffer for so long. What an evil woman." Joanna laughed at his aggrieved tone and pouty lips. She didn't deny that she was having a fun time watching him struggle.

"I will admit that you look cute when you struggle."

"Hey, there's no time for flirting, we have a pill to make."

"W-who said I'm flirting with you? Ahem…I mean I wasn't flirting with you, I was merely complimenting your looks."

Vasari shot the Archbishop a knowing smile and continued putting the remaining Shiba stiff roots into the cauldron.

"I'm serious. Don't give me that smile. Let's just move on to the next part."

"Whatever you say…"

Joanna then explained the next process of the concoction process.

"In alchemy, there are 4 different products an alchemist can create. The first is the most well-known and used product, the pill. The second type of product is a potion also referred to as an elixir. The third is a paste and the fourth and final product is a pellet. Each has a similar concoction process with slight differences in each."

Vasari finally learnt something new. He knew about pills but the other three products were new to him. He guessed that Miss Covington would have eventually taught the class about the other 3 types later in the year.

"The cauldron we are using today is a basic beginner's cauldron meant for those just getting into alchemy. Since all the ingredients are already in the cauldron we can continue to the next stage which is starting the fire. Because the cauldron is a basic cauldron you can use your basic fire Will to heat it up."

Vasari nodded and made a small fire underneath the cauldron.

"Next, you have to inject your Qi or Mana into the cauldron. Your Qi has to encompass all the ingredients and once it starts to heat up and melt, you need to be able to control it. It might be difficult at first but it takes time to get a hang of it. Remember that not everyone is suited to become an alchemist so don't beat yourself up if you fail."

Vasari earnestly listened to what Joanna was teaching him before placing his hands on the surface of the cauldron and injecting some of his Supreme Qi into it. His Qi covered all the ingredients in the cauldron and it wasn't long until he felt it heat up and then slowly melt.

"Once you have control, you have to slowly merge the ingredients together. Don't rush the process otherwise the ingredients won't mix the way it's supposed to."

Slowly, Vasari blended the ingredients together.

"Oh this is pretty eas-"

*boom!*

A loud explosion sounded inside the cauldron and black smoke slowly rose to the ceiling of the room.

"Hahahaha, you can't lose concentration mid-concoction or that will happen." Joanna's melodious laugh filled the room while Vasari could only smile helplessly at his mistake. 'How embarrassing…'

"Hehe…okay, let's do it all again."

While Vasari spent time with Archbishop Joanna Mota, Hiromi decided to leave the Draynora Mountain Range and visit her family. It had been a while since she last saw her younger sister and mother, and she was starting to miss them dearly. Hiromi also wanted to brag about Vasari to them.

Dawn offered to escort her to her family which Hiromi gratefully accepted. There were still some Beta stage beasts roaming about and without Vasari with her, she needed some protection from them.

The 2 young women then began their trip to one of the four main sects of Voxotis, the Purple Lilac Sect.

A full day later and many humbling failed attempts, Vasari reached into the cauldron and pulled out a small white marble-shaped pill.

"Well done you did it!" Joanna announced as she snatched the pill from his hands. She closely inspected the pill and soon came to a verdict.

"Although it's a low-grade pill it's still very impressive considering a day ago you knew basically nothing about alchemy."

Vasari didn't care whether it was a low-grade or a high-grade pill. He was just excited that he was able to create a pill from scratch. He humbly accepted Joanna's praise with a wide toothy smile.

"It's all thanks to your amazing teaching. Thank you for being so patient with me." Vasari clasped his hands and bowed his head slightly. She didn't have any obligation to teach him anything, she was an Archbishop who was equal in standing to a Core Haven Elder, yet Joanna took time to teach somebody she just met and he was grateful for that. Of course, he knew that she was attracted to him and the main driving force in influencing her decision to teach him the basics of alchemy but he didn't care about that. Wasn't his mission to get close to her anyway?

"Still, you are a quick learner and you have exceptional control over Qi." She said while moving closer to him. "For being such a good student I think you deserve a reward. What do you think."

Vasari felt a soft, cold hand swiftly enter his robes and press against the skin on his chest. He felt another hand placed on his thigh and before he knew it, a soft pair of lips lightly caressed his.

"What kind of reward does my little student want?" Her hand on his thigh slowly moved up, approaching his sleeping dragon. When she got close, she slowed down and teased him by drawing circles on his thighs with her pointing finger.

"How about me? Is my body a good reward?"

Every time she whispered, her lips brushed against his. It was a real test of his mental fortitude to not succumb to her seduction.

"You're not saying anything, but your little brother down here is telling me all I need to know." She stopped teasing his thigh and brushed her hand against his hardening rod. She was surprised at how large it was. Subconsciously she compared it to the only other penis she had ever felt and came to the conclusion that the was no competition between them.

Her excitement increased causing her to grip the base of his rod over his robes and slowly moved her hand up and down. At the same time, she used her other hand to slowly undress him.

Finally, Vasari caved in. He leaned his head forward and took Joanna's lips with his. She didn't resist and responded in kind. Their tongues entangled with each other and saliva was exchanged. Their flavours entwined and they couldn't get enough of it.

Soon Vasari was fully undressed, and he felt Joanna's soft hands expertly stroke his rock-hard member. She added twisting movements to her stroking which provided a new sensation that he had never felt before.

"I'm close~" he breathlessly said after breaking their kiss. Joanna smiled seductively and started possessively kissing his neck. She made sure to leave red marks on his skin like a predator marking its territory. Once satisfied with her markings she started spreading her scent across his body. Starting from his nape and moving down, Joanne slowly licked and kissed his body. His neck, his broad chest down to his chiselled abs, his belly button then finally arriving at his pulsating rod.

She licked his tip like a lollipop before slowly licking his entire length, coating it with her saliva. She licked and sucked his balls while still giving him a handjob. Vasari felt as if he was on cloud 9, and it wasn't long until he erupted with tremendous force.

His cum shot out and nearly hit the ceiling with his first few bursts. Most of the cum landed on the floor around them, while the little that landed on Vasari's abs was quickly slurped up by Joanna.

"Hmmm tasty~" she moaned in delight after cleaning the mess Vasari made.

"I want more~"
