Five days flew by for Vasari and those who lived with him.
Vasari had to cancel his mission with DT and Jaxon, and while they were disappointed, they understood why he couldn't do it anymore.
The girls polished their combat skills while also adjusting to their recently refined bodies when Witney offered a group training session to prepare for the mission. Hiromi and Hozomi, as well as the wolf cubs, joined the training. The girls thought it was a fun way to pass the time, but their favourite part of the training sessions was getting to bully Vasari.
On the fourth day, Witney invited Jude, Jett and his girlfriend, Rena, over to join their sparring sessions since they were all participating in the same mission.
Witney also invited Hassan, but he respectfully declined and said he had his own training.
Whenever Vasari wasn't training, he was in his sub-space playing with his baby dragons or trying to comprehend the Cultivation Method, which even after four days, he still couldn't make heads or tails of the words written on the scroll except the heading.
'It's like it was written in a different language.' That was what Vasari thought when he first went through it.
Since he couldn't learn the Cultivation Method yet, he continued mastering the first 2 stances of the Dragon Elephant Prajna Body Art and started learning the 5 Element Palm and the Elemental Dance techniques.
Vasari also made sure to fill his women up for the long, upcoming trip.
Right now, Vasari was standing outside the Cloud Port, next to him were ten other youths. Besides Jiang Xia, Witney, Gia, Talia, Jude, Jett and Rena, Hassan was also there as well as Alex and another young man with long purple hair.
Alex entirely disregarded the others and leant against a nearby wall, waiting for Jett's mother to come.
After 10 minutes, a tall woman with deep blue hair, similar to Jett's, approached the group. She was a stunning woman with a motherly charm, and a confident air swirled around her. She wore the robes of an Inner Haven Elder, which was royal blue with small white clouds drifting across the robes like it would the bright blue sky.
Her blue hair was neatly tied up into a bun with red ribbon, and fashionable bangs hung over her brow adding a youthful appeal to her motherly aura. Jett's mother had red eyeshadow on, which clashed with her blue eyes, but it still looked stunning. Her features were delicate but polished, and she was a beauty that many men could only dream of having.
"I'm glad everyone is already here, and we even have an extra disciple who shouldn't be here." Her voice was flowery and smooth, making one feel relaxed just from hearing it.
"Good morning Elder Monk."
All the disciples announced and bowed slightly in greeting. Elder Monk nodded and motioned for everyone to raise their heads.
"You are Vasari, yes? I wasn't told that you would be coming along too."
"I'm just here to drop the little ones off. I couldn't have them getting lost and missing the ride." Vasari said while reaching out his hand and placing it atop Jett's head before messing up his hair.
The elder was amused when she saw Vasari treating Jett like a father would a son, especially since she was his mother.
"Well, if that's all you came here for, you can get going. We are about to leave." Elder Monk blatantly stated, not wanting to waste any time. Vasari understood this and nodded before turning to the four girls beside him.
He kissed their foreheads one by one and told them to be safe. Elder Monk and the 10th disciple were speechless when they saw this, while Alex had no apparent reaction.
"Okay then, I'll be off. You, young ones enjoy your trip and try not to have too much fun without me." Vasari walked away, and when he was out of sight, Elder Monk guided the disciples to the Cloud Stables. She took them to one of the private areas reserved for the mounts of Inner Haven Elders. After walking through a spatial portal, they arrived in a world shrouded by darkness with the only light coming from the thousands and thousands of stars illuminating the night sky.
"Don't be afraid." Elder Monk uttered. "Estrela, come down."
The disciples watched in anxiety how the stars in the sky suddenly started falling but remembering Elder Monks' words, they calmed down and watched in wonder. The stars got larger and larger until it looked like it was just above them, so close that they felt within arm's reach.
Elder Monk clapped her hands once and the darkness seemed to vanish, replaced by light.
"Ahhhh!" Rena screamed in fear when she saw two massive eyes glaring at her from above. Not just her, but all ten youths shivered in fear, even Jett who had already experienced this plenty of times.
The stars they were admiring just before were not stars at all. Large, curious eyes filled their vision, and it was the scariest thing they'd ever seen before. There was no iris and no pupils, just a black sclera with thousands of bright spots that looked like stars shining in the night sky.
"Estrela, don't scare them like that." Elder Monk berated the ginormous Wyvern.
The Wyvern huffed out a breath of air that knocked the disciples to their buts before lifting its head. The disciples could now see what the beast in front of them looked like.
"Oh my…
"What the…
You've got to be kidding me."
The Wyvern resembled the legendary Dragons in stories, except it only had two legs instead of four and its body was slimmer. The length from the tip of its tail to its snout was an impressive 220 metres, and its total wingspan was roughly the same. The beast had dark navy scales that gave it an intimidating appearance, and two deadly horns protruded from its forehead.
This Ancient-stage beast was on a level none of them could currently comprehend. Outer Haven Elders would immediately flee on sight when faced with this beast, and even some Inner Haven would struggle to subdue him. Talia looked at this Wyvern with shaken eyes. This was only the second time in her life that she felt her bloodline totally suppressed. The first was when Vasari unsealed his bloodline in front of her, and this was the second.
Elder Monk internally smiled when she noticed this. She had raised this Wyvern since it was young and poured innumerable amounts of resources into the Wyvern to improve its diluted bloodline. Elder Monk got the Wyverns bloodline to 90% purity after thousands of products, and without an exceedingly rare treasure, it would be impossible to increase it further. To put into perspective how good its bloodline purity was, before Talia had some of her Bloodline impurities removed by Vasari's yang, her bloodline purity was only at 63%.
And now, after a few cultivation sessions with Vasari, it improved to 76%. She would still need a lot of time and resources, even with Vasari helping her, to get to 100%.
"This is Estrela, my beast companion. He is a Star Wyvern, one of only seven remaining of his kind and the only one in the Ancient stage." Elder Monk introduced the Wyvern to the students who were too afraid to keep with him. "Estrela, these students will travel with us to the Scented Fjord, so don't be mean to them."
The Wyvern did not react to her words, focusing his gaze on the boy with blue hair the same as his master's. He had a love-hate relationship with this boy.
Before Jett was born, he got all of Elder Monks' attention, even more than what she gave her husband, but after this boy was born, he was pushed down the pecking order. However, he still considered Jett his younger brother, although not being fond of him.
"Enough chitchat, we're already late. I assume you all already have everything you need?" Seeing everyone nod, Elder Monk waved her hand, causing the 10 youths to start floating.
Elder Monk's feet lifted off the ground as well, and she began to levitate higher and higher with the youths immediately behind her. She landed on the back of the Wyvern, and the disciples landed soon after.
Their shock only increased when they landed. The Wyrm felt even larger when standing directly atop it, and they got a real sense of how massive the beast really was. Each scale was half a meter long, and it felt as if they were standing on solid ground.
"I would take a seat if I were you." The disciples did as the elder advised and quickly sat crossed-legged on the Wyvern's back. Elder Monk performed a few hand signs, and a dome appeared over the disciple's heads.
"This dome will protect you from dying while Estrela is flying. Don't leave the dome no matter what unless you want to turn into meat paste."
The disciples gulped and rapidly nodded in understanding.
"Alright then, Estrela, let's go!"
Elder Monk clapped her twice, and the ceiling of the massive room disappeared. Seeing clear skies above it, the Wyvern roared in delight, shaking the entire Outer Haven. Estrela spread his huge wings, showing off his impressive wingspan and flapped them once, instantly disappearing from the room he was resting in.
Those wandering the streets, playing in parks, or cultivating in their yards heard a grand roar and automatically looked up. When they saw the massive figure of the Wyvern blocking most of the Sun in the sky, casting a shadow over the majority of Outer Haven, their eyes gleamed with admiration, fear, or amazement.
"Mama, look! A dragon! It's a dragon!"
A young child wandering through one of Outer Haven's many parks exclaimed in excitement.
The mother, on the other hand, stiffened in horror, her hand reaching out to grasp her son, but the beast vanished almost instantly as if it had all been an illusion.
"Phew, I forgot we were in the Cloud Haven Sect." She exhaled a sigh of relief and placed her palm on her chest in an attempt to calm her racing heart.

Vasari was back at home, and after completing a successful cultivation session, he proceeded to the kitchen to make lunch.
When he got to the kitchen, he found Hiromi and Hozumi already there and the aroma of cooked meat wafted into his nostrils.
"Vasari, you made it just in time, we made you lunch. You can go to the dining room so long, we will bring it to you." Hiromi said when she noticed Vasari.
With a big smile, Vasari nodded and walked to the dining room. A minute later, the mother and daughter walked in and served him like a king, setting up a variety of dishes on the table for him. He could tell they had worked long and hard on all of this.
"What's the special occasion?" He couldn't help but ask after indulging his nose in the wonderful aroma of the food.
"We just wanted to make sure you had a nice meal before you leave tomorrow," Hozumi responded while taking a napkin and tucking it into his collar. She then grabbed another and placed it on his lap.
"How nice of you, but…" Vasari pulled both the mother and the daughter into his lap. Hiromi on his left side and Hozumi on his right, his hands gripping their thick behinds. "…I want you to feed me."
His tone was authoritative and demanding. He wasn't asking them but telling them to feed him. Hiromi immediately nodded, taking a plate off the table and preparing to feed him. Hozumi, on the other hand, was more reluctant than she wanted to be. Vasari was her son-in-law, and these behaviours were clearly inappropriate for a mother and son-in-law, but seeing Hiromi's encouraging eyes and feeling Vasari's big hand on her ass, she succumbed and picked up a plate of food.
'So what if he's my son-in-law, he's too irresistible~'
Vasari enjoyed being treated like a king, and this was one of the best meals he's had in recent times.
After finishing his meal, Vasari thanked the mother duo for the delicious meal and returned to his room to continue cultivating.
