Samantha's POV
"Who did you say is here?" I asked no one in particular as Nancy gave way for Aiden. Wait, Aiden? I ran to him and hugged him. He winced in pain probably because of his ribs and I smacked his head and he winced again.
"What's that for?" He asked which made me laugh,
"Why are you here, you supposed to be resting?" I said, pushing his head as we walked inside the sitting room. I threw my bag on the sofa and called Megan.
"Please get me bottles of coke for me and drinks for my friends?" I said smiling at her, she smiled at everyone and walked back to the kitchen, I faced Aiden who was busy looking around.
"How did you get to know my house?" I asked cos I was totally surprised he knows here, my high school crush, the guy I love.
"Who doesn't know the house of Samantha Goldman." He said with a boasting tone, we laughed and I saw how weird the setting is, I turned on the TV and the DSTV got activated, we settled for an action movie since that was what we all agreed on, not quite long, the maid came with a tray of glass cups and big orange juice with my bottle of coke, I so much love coke, it's kind of favorite drink.
"Thanks." He appreciated it, which made me laugh. Is he serious right now?
"Common, let's watch Netflix huh?" I suggested as Nancy jumped high shouting yes...
" Is your parents home?" Aiden asked and I shook my head. It's obvious that they are late again and won't be home for dinner as usual.
"Let's watch STRANGER THINGS, I so much love the video," she said as I selected stranger things. I love the movie. I'm actually in season 3. I love the way El and the red hair treated the guys. We are superior to them in all ways.
Not long after, the maids came with baked meat pie, some rolls, chickens, and KFC with popcorn. I smiled looking at my favorite food, chicken, mostly KFC.
"Satisfy yourself okay," I said as I sat beside Aiden, we and watch the movie for season 1 to the end, it was awesome but I was already feeling sleepy, I ate the entire KFC and some chicken, we did popcorn battle and I donated my coke, the whole house was littered with popcorn, Aiden was about to go since it's night time.
" Sam, thanks for all you've done for me today but today won't be complete without asking this question." I was anxious to know what his question would be, Aiden knelt on one knee and faced me.
"Sam, please be my girlfriend, I can't wait another day for someone to snatch you from me, I understand if you don't wanna accept but please just..."
"I will be your girlfriend," I said as I drew him up and hugged him right, bye higher me and I know he was wincing in pain, he's just trying to hide the truth.
We kissed for a while and he went home looking happy. I was shocked to see Nancy.
"Nancy what?" I asked and she laughed.
'You officially have a boyfriend huh?" Nancy said and I laughed,
"You can say that again, I just love him," I said as she smiled...
"Miss Aiden, I've gotta go, see you tomorrow, " she walked outside and I sat on the chair sighing loud, the maid came and cleared the sitting room, I walked upstairs to my room and lay on the bed, I pulled my cloth off leaving me with bra and pants, I took my hoodie and wore them, I looked at my staff and sighed, feels good being the school president.
I went downstairs and I met Megan arranging the dining room. She was arranging the table and putting the plates and spoons where they are supposed to be for dinner.
"Is mom and dad back?" I asked and she nodded, I was shocked as I looked back and faced her again.
"But.. When did she come?" I asked and smiled, the maids came in with sweet and great food, the aroma was smelling great and I couldn't even wait to bite from it.
"She came in the morning, they didn't go to work today." She said, I groaned and looked at her, I got frustrated easily, I even approved of a relationship and I didn't even tell my mom about my success.
"You didn't ask, you ask and I'll tell you." She said, I scoffed and ram upstairs, I got to their room, I knocked on the door and entered, I saw mom and dad sitting on the bed, mom looked kind of dull while dad was busy with the laptop, I rushed and hug my mom, she laughed when I hugged her, I hugged my dad also and he smiled...
"You look In a good mood." Dad covered his laptop as I smiled widely.
"Why won't I, you guys are home, and also I won the election, I'm the school president," I yelled as they hugged me,
"I'm proud of you babe, I am proud of you," Dad said as she kissed my forehead.
"My sugar is a champion." She hugged me like I was gonna disappear.
"Mom, you are suffocating me, " I said laughing and my mom also joined, dad, hugged both of us as he smiled widely.
"Let's go celebrate okay." He said as we walked downstairs, he went to the parlor and brought out his best wind, very expensive wine. We got to the dining room and opened the food. It was my favorite food, spaghetti, and chicken with boiled fish.
We signed into our food while dad pumped the champagne, he poured into our cups as we cheered.
"What are you all celebrating??" Megan asked as dad faced her smiling.
"Your daughter won the election." He said as she hugged me.
"Congrats, my daughter.." She took a glass and cheered with us as we all merry happily but still the happy gathering turned sore because of what I said next, I shouldn't have said anything now they annoy me now...
