The next morning came, and a maid name Laura came and help her. Brought her clothes and showed her around the place.
"What is your name again?"
Viviana paused, wondering if she should say her real name or not.
"My name is Viviana…"
"Oh my! Viviana!? You're duke Chela's daughter! What are you doing here?"
Viviana faked a little smile and said,
"It's a long story…"
Laura introduce her to the other maids but they didn't talk much. Just doing their job cleaning and dusting. Viviana did her best to clean the floor with just a wet towel and bucket. Hours and hours of cleaning it. She was now done. She has been doing this job for a month now and someone can back home.
"Amaris! You know how much I wanted that necklace! Why wouldn't you buy me it!?"
It was no other than Crown Princess Calista and Crown Prince Amaris. It seems Calista is very upset about something and Amaris is doing his best to calm her down. Hearing them coming, Viviana stand up and grab the bucket, quickly leaving, she did, however, get a quick glimpse of Crown Prince Amaris' hair, it was white as clouds which shock Viviana, reminding her of Kaiser.
Dumping the dirty water and squeezing the towel and leaving it outside to dry a bit from the sun. Winter is almost here, it's almost time for Eternal birthday again. She sigh a bit. The harsh wind started to blow against the hanged bedsheets as the leaf started to fall.
"I should bring this back inside…"
She pulled on the hanging bedsheets and folder them into the basket. Pulling the next one down, she thought she saw Kaiser.
"Kaiser!?"
She yelled out and ran after him but it wasn't him at all. It was Prince Amaris. She bowed and never lifted her head.
"Please forgive me, your highness… I mistook you as a very good friend of mine…"
"No worry, you may go on with your task…"
He walked away. Viviana sighed once again, embarrassed she mistook Prince Amaris as Kaiser, she brought in the basket full of dry bedsheets. Folding it and delivering it to each royal bedroom, fixing the bed, and putting new bedsheets in.
One week passed and she was good at this job, she did get along with the other maid and got closer to Laura but not much. It seem like all the maids were afraid to speak up or do anything whenever something happen.
It was now Viviana's turn again to change the bedsheets, this royal family like the bedsheets change every day. As Viviana finally finish the last bedroom. Calista came into the room and she was in a bad mood.
"UGH! I hate Amaris! So stupid! Why can't he just buy me that necklace if he truly loves me!!"
She was still mad about the necklace event. Calista stop her track and stare at Viviana, she smirked a bit, and Viviana bowed a bit, trying to leave but Calista stop her.
"Clean the room again! The bedsheet is still dirty!"
"Your highness, the bedsheets were just changed,"
Calista got pissed and started to wreck the room, throwing vases onto the floor, getting dirty on her clean bedsheets with her shoes, and throwing pillows everywhere.
"I said clean it again! You're so unless!"
Calista left the room. Viviana was shocked and couldn't say a word. Pulling out the bed sheets and cleaning the room again. Viviana headed back downstairs and bumped into one of the personal assistants.
"Oh my! I am sorry my lady~"
He smiled at her. It was no other than, Calix Alton, who is the personal assistant of Crown Prince Amaris. He used to be part of a noble family until they were stripped of it and wanted to earn money, so he enter the Moon empire as a butler and sooner a personal assistant of Amaris. He has green pine hair that is kind of wavy it was kind of long. Hair split in half that covers some of his forehead and golden eyes.
"I am the one who I should say sorry, Forgive me…"
Viviana fake a smile and was about to leave when he stop her. His face came closer to hers.
"Do you need help with carrying it my lady~?"
"I am honored Sir, but it's my job as a maid to do this task…"
Viviana bowed and left for the washing room. However, Sir Calix just smiles as she walks off. Calista soon saw Calix and rush up to him. Calista was smiling and it seem like she wanted something from him.
As Viviana got back, all the maids were shocked to see her come back with another dirty bedsheet.
"Sorry everyone,"
Viviana sighs and places the bedsheets into a bucket and pours warm water into it.
"Let me guess, Princess Calista did this?"
One of the maids asked. Viviana nodded.
"Oh lord, she always does that…"
Another maid said and the other agreed.
"Oh, by the way, do you know this man with green hair and golden eyes? He offers to help me…"
Viviana wonder as everyone paused before they all fan girl. Telling everything about how they felt and about him.
"OH my! Sir Calix!? I would have agreed to let him help me if that means I get to spend time with him!!!"
"Oh come on Viviana! He is the most famous man in the empire!"
"Ugh~~! He is so fine! The perfect man in the world!!!"
Viviana's eyes widen and try to calm them down. She never seen so many woman fan girl over some man, but then again she was always at home.
"How is he the perfect man?"
"Viviana! How could you not know!!"
Laura pouted and crossed her arms. The other maid stop what she was doing and push all the other maids out of the way to stand in front of Viviana. Holding Viviana's hands and staring dead in the eyes.
"He is the perfect man, he is kind, sweet, very hard-working, very tall, and handsome! He is willing to help anyone and he is such a gentleman… He also knows how to cook and bake! He is great at cleaning as well! He is also a very very skillful man in fighting! He is in the top three most handsome men in the empire!"
Viviana slowly moves her hand away. Just taken back by how much they know about him.
"The top three is Crown Prince Amaris because of his charms and how brave he is! Always caring about the people and protecting the people!"
Laura pushes the other maid out.
"Next is my favorite, the perfect man Sir Caspian~ He is my type~"
Laura faints and the other maids catch her.
"Then who is the last top three most handsome men?"
Viviana wondered and the other maids look at each other and smirked.
"Second prince Elatha, he is a very secret man… he got a very sexy vibe to him…"
"Oh yes yes! The older maid said he would tease you and make sure you look at him as you help put on his clothes~"
"Sadly he only comes to the royal palace once in a while, like maybe once a year but he sure loves his hot bath!"
"Oh my~ He would sometime pull you into the hot bath to tease you~"
The other maid started to blush but then they started to fight over who is number one!
"Prince Elatha is better!"
"No! Sir Calix is much better! The perfect man!"
"Um no! Crown Prince Amaris is much better! Look how respectful he is to everyone! He is going to be the next emperor!"
Viviana was getting a headache and went to wash the bedsheet. Later, Calista called them to sever her tea. Laura was task severing the tea and Viviana was tasked to sever the baked cookies.
"Oh, Viviana~ Can you go get some red wine?"
Calista was basically treating her as a dog, and then was nothing Viviana can do. Viviana nodded and went down to the wine cellar. She couldn't find the red wine.
"Does this lady need some help~?"
It was no other than Sir Calix.
"Oh, hello Sir Calix, What brings you down here?"
"Hm~ Sometime I see you maid suffer trying to get the red wine…"
He pointed to the top of the shelves. He grabs the wine and hands it to her.
"Thank you, but Sir… Why do you help the maids a lot?"
"It's simple~ I understand the feeling of the royal family putting you down…"
He smiled. Viviana awkwardly smiled before she say her goodbye.
"Thank you once again, I'll be going…"
Viviana went back to the Calista room and the room was a mess. Laura was on the floor crying and her maid outfit ripped.
"Oh~! Perfect!"
Calista grabbed the wine out of Viviana's hand and smash it against the table before she let the red wine drain the dress that she was holding.
"N-no w-wait! I-I am sorry Princess! I-I didn't mean to spill it on y-you!"
Calista slapped her and then look at Viviana who was shocked. Viviana was scared to get hurt so she offer to help her change and bathe.
"This way Princess…"
Viviana showed her the way and help wash her hair but the whole time she kept thinking about what happened to Laura.
"Tonight is the night, I'll try to have a child with my hubby! What perfume would match me~?"
Calista looks at her. Viviana just picked any random one and Calista was happy. Viviana went back to the tea room and clean up the mess once again. Viviana went back to the other maid's room.
Laura was crying and the other maids were worried but didn't say or do much. Viviana walked up to Laura, seeing her maid clothes ripped and a very beautiful gown not only ripped but also spilled with red wine.
"Laura, what happen when I left?"
Viviana held her hand.
"I-I… I spilled some wine on her dress and she got very an-angry at me and ripped all my maid clothes and even my the dress my mother gifted me…"
Laura started to cry harder than before. Viviana hugged her and wipe her tears. The dress reminds her of her mother's dress.
"Here, let me give you my spare maid clothes,"
Viviana went to go get spare maid clothes and took Laura's dress that her mother gifted her. Washing it and did her best to sew it back.
"V-Viviana! You don't need to do this for me!"
"This is nothing…"
"Viviana, how should I reply to you??"
Viviana stops her sewing. Thinking about it.
"Do me a favor… defend me and hid my tracks…"
Laura was confused but agreed. Viviana smirked and finish the sewing. After three days, she finishes sewing it. Calista's anger just gets worst and she started to see what Calista does to the other maids. Viviana was pissed, how much have those maids suffered here because of Calista. Going to each maid and asking for more info on the Calista.
"Princess Calista has a secret room with her wedding dress and her favorite jewelry… No one knows where it is besides her personal maid Emily,"
Viviana thanked her and went to the next maid who was dusting.
"Do you know anything about Princess Calista?"
The maid stops dusting and thought about it.
"Princess Calista always goes into the closet daily but never picks out clothes or changes in there, she just goes in there for like an hour and comes back looking the same…"
Viviana smirked, this is the key to her plan. That night when everyone was sleeping and Calista was in her husband's master bedroom, she quietly went into the room, looking around and finding the closet.
Opening the door and going to the back of the closet, touching every wall but find nothing. She stares at the mirror.
"This mirror seems off…"
She touches it and sees how it shows a pathway behind it. This must go to her secret room. She try to move the mirror but it was no use. She then lay down on her stomach and press anything on the floor. She tabs on each part of the floor until she heard a soft and hollow sound on the floor. Pulling the rug up and away. She presses on the hard marble. Pressing down on it and the mirror moves out of the way.
Viviana smirked and quickly went in. In the room, there was a wedding dress Calista wore. Display in a very big glass box. It was still new and beautiful and laying on a table is her favorite piece of jewelry in a glass box. Out of rage, she punches the glass box. Shock at how strong she was. Pulling the wedding gown and holding the jewelry box.
Walking towards the balcony and throwing the jewelry first down, into Calista's garden full of roses. The box shader into many pieces. However, Viviana was not satisfied enough.
"This is not enough after what you did…"
Dragging the wedding gown, quietly into the rose garden. Viviana takes out a fire match, sets it on fire, and throws it on the wedding gown. The fire grows bigger and burns down anything. Viviana smirked and head back to the room and pretended she was sleeping as chaos unfolded.
Everyone was screaming there was a fire in the rose garden and trying to put out the fire. Calista was confused about what was going on,
"Hubby! Did you hear the screams and light coming outside?"
Calista looks out the window to see a fire. Amaris put down his book and remove his glasses.
"Hm, that is strange there is a big light…"
"I am going to check!"
Calista put on her silk robe.
"Calista~ You know it's not princess-like to hear out in just a silk robe,"
Amaris stood up and put his coat on her.
"Whatever hubby!"
She left the room with her maid Emily.
Amaris rolls his eyes and follows her, just to make sure she is safe. Once she got there, she realize it was her place and her garden!!!
"WHAT The hell is going on!? Why is there a fir-"
she scream in horror, to see her wedding gown burn up in flames, her jewelry destroy and her prize-winning rose garden she work so hard growing, all slowly destroy.
"MY WEDDING GOWN!!"
Calista tries rushing to grab her wedding gown. However, her maid holds her back for a while. Screaming and kicking, she breaks free and rushes towards the fire, and grabs the wedding gown.
"NO NO! STOP!"
"Calista!"
Amaris rush over and grabbed her away, she got some small burns on her arms.
"MY DRESS! MY DRESS!"
Calista cried out.
"Come take the crown princess away!!"
Amaris called for the maid to drag her away. Amaris suck in some air before he blows on the fire, turning everything into ice, and killing the fire. However, it was too late. Everything was gone forever~
Amaris' head started to feel dizzy and he fainted on the grass, Everyone rushed to take him inside and get a royal doctor. From afar, Viviana was watching everything and smiling.
