Chapter 27 - Chapter 25 Rose Awaken II

Sitting uncomfortably on an old and refined wooden chair, a beautiful young mother. With blond hair and eyes as blue as the waters of a crystal-clear river. Fidgeted: sighs, shuffling, or gentle movements with her hands to hold her baby on her lap.

She was Seraphine Greengrass.

Even her refined and expensive appearance or her natural beauty couldn't hide the desperation and concern in her slightly reddened eyes that occasionally glanced at her baby and other times at her sister lying in front of her.

In front of her, the equally blond beautiful young woman rested on a large four-poster bed. Her breathing was stable and rhythmic as her chest rose and fell, her facial features were harmonious and cheerful, and together with the sumptuously decorated floral room, she looked like she was in a comfortable and sweet sleep.

The only problem was that the sleep had lasted for a year.

Seraphine cried every hour when she looked at her pale sister lying on the bed. She felt a mix of regret, longing, sometimes guilt, other times happiness as childhood memories flooded her mind.

Glimpses of their games, laughter, or the time when she hurt her knee and her sister comforted her by hugging her tightly with her cheerful manner.

In her lap was little Daphne, now two months old. The once cheerful child moved her hands disorderly, sometimes putting them in her mouth; other times grabbing onto the dress. She felt something was wrong seeing her mother crying, and started crying along with her. Moving her little fingers, trying to reach her mother's face to comfort her, or just pulling Ly Seraphine's hair.

Upon hearing the commotion of the mother-daughter duo crying, Aradia Greengrass woke up.

"Sister?" She asked confusedly, as her voice scratched her throat hoarsely, but she didn't notice, the emotion made her forget anything was wrong with her body.

Seraphine looked at her now-awakened sister trying to figure out if it really happened or if it was just a figment of her mind. "Aradia, I..." Her voice was trembling, not knowing what to say.

Seraphine's body moved on its own, hugging Daphne carelessly with just one of her hands, leaning slightly forward, her other hand grabbing Rose's pale face, who reacted by bringing her trembling hand on top of her sister's.

Tears flowed from their eyes, tracing a path on their faces. They stared at each other, no words needed, as their gaze said everything that needed to be said.

But this moment was interrupted by Daphne slipping and falling from Delphine's embrace.

But before any tragedy could happen, Daphne had a magical accident, and floated, falling slowly onto Rose's chest. The distinctive sound of Rose's heartbeat echoed due to the surprise of seeing her niece falling on her. And Daphne fell into cute laughter due to the crazy movements she experienced.

Rose and her sister couldn't resist the cuteness of Daphne and burst into laughter, until a slight cough interrupted them.

"And who could you be, little sorceress?" She spoke in a sweet childish voice while pinching her chubby cheeks. Daphne looked a lot like her mother, with pale blond hair and skin, but unlike her mother's warm blues, the little one's eyes were ice blue.

As she watched her daughter and sister interact with a smile on her face, she realized the fragile state that Rose was in.

"Dylis, please," she called out to the house-elf. Moments later, a gentle pop sound filled the room, grabbing everyone's attention.

Everyone looked and saw an elf now standing next to a small desk near a Renaissance painting of one of the Greengrass ancestors.

Dylis looked at the people in the room, focusing her attention on Rose. "The kind lady is awake, Dylis is happy. What does Madame need from Dylis?"

"Hello, Dylis, it's good to see you too," said Rose with a soft smile for the elf who took care of her in her childhood.

Seraphine interrupted, calling the elf's attention. "Could you please get a Revitalizing potion and a Wiggenweld potion?" She looked at her elf, who seemed very excited, and gave a slight smile. "Also, bring me a calming tea, chamomile will do."

The elf disappeared as quickly as it came, leaving only the painting that made cyclic movements on the wall.

She turned her attention to Daphne, who was now drooling all over her sister's chest and hurried to pick her up.

"Sorry about this, Aradia. Daphne is a very restless girl," she gently picked up the baby and, with her wand, cast a cleaning spell on her sister. With a smooth motion towards Rose, all the drool was gone, leaving her dress perfectly dry. After that, she summoned a handkerchief. "Daphne, let's clean up your drooly mess."

Rose just smiled, "It's okay, I know how it is. I was working at an orphanage all this time," a slight expression of longing passed over her face and she whispered, "Vince."

Despite the state of her body and having a vague idea of what had happened, she still needed to understand her situation.

Lying on the excessively comfortable mattress, she said, "I'm confused. I wasn't supposed to be here." Although she had a good relationship with her sister, she lived in the Muggle world. After all, she was a magical abortion, and her parents made sure to put her where she should be.

"You were in a coma at St. Mungo's Hospital, and..." The emotion returned strongly, and involuntary tears flowed from her eyes. Not even her advanced Occlumency could stop this flow of emotions.

"It's okay, Seraph," Rose said as she struggled to get up, embracing her sister. "I'm here, I'm here..."

A pop sounded in the room, and the house-elf appeared.

Rose observed her as she compared her to her memories. Large expressive eyes, long and pointed ears and noses, this form was so strange and yet familiar to her. "Dylis."

Rose took both potions and could feel the almost immediate magical effect. The Wiggenweld Potion had a green and viscous texture, and the almost unbearable bitter taste made its effect quick to heal. on the other hand, the Revitalization potion, which had a bubbling taste, nourished her and left her slightly excited. It was as if she had taken one of those popular energy drinks that Muggles calls "Red Bull."

Seraphine, on the other hand, sipped her calming tea with the elegance of perfect etiquette that had been drilled into her for years of noble training and education.

Seraphine, "As I was saying, I found you in the magical hospital. It was devastating to see you like that." She spoke better due to the calming effect of the tea, but she was still emotional. "I heard the news that they attacked Yorkshire... I was so scared, sister. I could have lost you." After venting, she seemed much calmer. Finally, they talked about what happened. Rose told it in a way that wouldn't reveal Vincent's secrets.

Despite her kind nature, she knew how things worked and that this secret could bring a lot of trouble. In the end, Rose picked up little Daphne and started playing with her.

....

Somewhere else in the magical world.

Vincent emerged from the shadows with a group of 5 wizards and approached a majestic corpse of a Hungarian Horntail dragon. The location was in the underground of a large castle.

"This is incredible, better than any fantasy could describe it. Even though it's dead, I can feel the tension and power that this creature once possessed. Indomitable, fierce, and proud," he spoke to himself.

'Unfortunately, he had to come in person. He was negotiating the heart of a dragon illegally.'

He came in his demonic form, hidden in the illusion. A nobleman with angular and sharp features on his face, he wore an Italian slim three-piece suit. His hand held a white wand, like bone, with an eagle carved on the base.

His eyes scanned the room, noticing the tense expressions on the faces of the smugglers. He smiled internally, pleased with the success of his illusion. And as he walked towards the dragon, he couldn't help but feel excited about the prospect of climbing even higher in the hierarchy of the demonic path.

He approached the dragon with firm and confident steps, giving him a certain presence. However, he stopped for a moment, and a sweet smile carved into his face, which made the smugglers sweat. "Rose finally awakened," he whispered, but they perfectly heard, Vincent's voice in that silent and dark basement. "I can't wait to meet her again." And he continued walking towards the dragon for almost 30 meters.

He climbed onto the dragon's chest, his "magical wand" slowly turning into a blade, which surprised the men present. Vincent plunged the perfectly sharpened blade towards the heart. With his enhanced strength smoothly entered the dragon's chest, opening a cavity of almost one meter, and from there he pulled out the heart.

Although his face was beautiful and noble, he showed no emotion, which made everything even more sinister. With a gesture upwards, the dead heart floated in the air, and a sinister energy invaded it.

The pungent smell of blood filled the whole room, and everyone saw the heart begin to move, having gentle contractions while shining softly in red.

The striking light illuminated the dark basement in a way that made everything more sinister.

The present wizards felt their entire bodies shiver, while their eyes fixed on the heart, the light changing its intensity with each beat. It was very uncomfortable. "It seemed wrong."

The strong sound of this beating heart invaded their ears, leaving them paralyzed, lost, and hopeless. It was as if..."Their own existences had no meaning in front of the Mage in front of them."

Vincent said in a cold tone "The contract has been fulfilled, thank you Lord Yanllex." With a simple wave of his hand, the mark on the man's wrist disappeared. An Iconic coin flew into Vincent's hand, one with a symbol of a butterfly sitting in a perfect triangle.

With another wave of his hand, the blade became a Crimson Grimoire, and the book quickly swallowed the living, beating dragon heart.

Vincent looked at the men and noticed a heavy tension in the air. "Now, if you'll excuse me, gentlemen, I have more important things to attend to." He walked slowly towards the exit, while everyone looked at him. "Send my regards to your wife, Yanllex." He disappeared as he climbed the stairs, leaving no trace of his presence there.

A/N: Thank you very much to everyone for helping in the previous discussion. I have decided to continue with my fiction work and will strive to improve the character development in a way that integrates them better into the world of Harry Potter. As for frequency, I plan to post three times a week: Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. I will make an effort to improve the grammar, and don't worry, I will maintain the violent tone with a good dose of blood and deaths. After all, that doesn't hurt, right?
