Chapter 96 - Chapter 96 Success

As days went by without darkness ever infiltrating the yard containing the pagoda, the day Shung Yun completely cultivated the body cleansing realm cultivation technique finally arrived.

"Just two[2] days short of it been three[3] weeks," Shung Yun said after sixteen[16] days of daily cultivation.

"Now to take care of this," resisting the urge to use his dirt covered hand to cover his nose, he said as he got up to his feet while being covered in black, sticky slime.

Taking off his robe and his pant and leaving them on the ground, he took out one of his inscriptions before activating it and throwing on the robe on the ground.

Puff!!

Flames erupted from the inscribed paper before slowly consuming the black, sticky slime covered robe and pant on the ground.

Arriving in front of the fence of the pagoda yard, Shung Yun took a step forward before throwing himself out of the yard and into the surrounding sea.

Washing his body in the sea as he swam across it, he began inspecting the changes in him.

"I feel lighter than even," he thought as he easily moved through the sea while scrubbing the black, sticky slime on his body.

After a couple of minute of a satisfied bath, he swam back to the direction of the pagoda before entering into the yard.

Having a weird expression on his face after wearing his robe and his pant, he checked out his body before finding the source of his situation.

"D..did I just lose wealth?" not knowing whether to laugh or cry, Shung Yun stood speechless for a while before sitting cross-legged on the ground to recover his used physique Qi.

Four[4] hours later...…

Opening his bright white eyes and revealing the flame colored irises contained within it, Shung Yun had an amazed expression on his face as he noticed the state of his body.

"I can now store more amount of physique Qi in my body," he said as he felt the amount of strength coursing through his body, "and I no longer feel like I'm not filled."

Enjoying his new improvements and benefits, he took out several meats and fishes of various fierce beasts to celebrate his growth.

Finishing his feast in less than twenty[20] minutes, he took a couple of minutes before diving into the study of inscription.

"The more my knowledge on inscription grows, the more ideas I have," he muttered as he focused on the upper half of the back page of the scroll containing Mr. Lee's teachings.

Ending his inscription study after three[3] hours, Shung Yun went to sleep.

Waking up after six[6] hours, he thanked the pagoda before leaving its yard and heading towards the surface of the sea.

Xuijang Village...…..

"My lord, your student is dead," a lower-stage middle aged man said as he knelt in front of a fellow lower-stage middle aged man sitting cross-legged on a luxurious mat.

With his eyes still closed, the cross-legged lower-stage middle aged man asked, "how did Nuo Long die?"

"He was killed during one of his missions," the kneeing lower-stage middle aged man said to his master.

"He isn't stupid to go after someone way stronger than him," the cross-legged lower-stage middle aged man said with his eyes still closed, "who was his target?"

"A newly emerged renowned figure in Yuhan Town. He's a body tempering realm cultivator," the kneeing lower-stage middle aged man said.

"A newly... A body....," repeating his servant's words, the cross-legged lower-stage middle aged man was a little baffled, he asked, "was his target under the protection of dantian unsealing realm guards?"

"No. But he was with inscription items able to showcase the power of a middle-stage dantian unsealing realm cultivator," the kneeing lower-stage middle aged man said.

"He's renowned for his wealth then," the cross-legged lower-stage middle aged man said as his hands remained on his thighs, "where is he now?"

"From the information I received, he boarded a ship heading to Chufan City," the kneeing lower-stage middle aged man said.

"Alright. Prepare a ship; we're going to visit him in Chufan City," the cross-legged lower-stage middle aged man said as he opened his eyes.

"How did you end up in the middle of such a huge sea?" a middle-stage middle aged man with a gold necklace having a round medallion around his neck asked the middle-stage male teenager sitting on a chair with a thick towel over his shoulder.

"The ship I was on encountered a terrifying storm last night and was wrecked apart," Shung Yun said as he rubbed his palms together to create heat, "I have no idea if the captain and his crew on board are still alive."

"That's really unfortunate," the middle-stage middle aged man shook his head as he sighed, "I wonder why your ship would encounter storms at this time of the season. Storms usually don't emerge during such times."

"I heard the captain of the ship I was on saying the same thing during the time we encountered the storm," Shung Yun said as he continued his act.

"Something must be behind your ship's encounter with the storm," the middle-stage middle aged man said before standing up, "have a good rest. It will take us a while to arrive at Chufan City."

"Thanks for your help, Mr. Jun. I'll try my best to repay your kindness," Shung Yun said as he expressed his good will to the middle-stage middle aged man.

"Helping a colleague in need is the right thing to do," Mr. Jun said before leaving the cabin housing Shung Yun to his own cabin.

"The location of the pagoda is so far from the village," Shung Yun muttered after recalling his current location shown to him by Mr. Jun on a map containing an entire province.

"I need a way to make the direction of the tattoo appear on a map. That will make it possible for me to prepare properly," he muttered as he thought of a solution to his problem, "seek help from the one who gave the opportunity."

"Time to meet pride," isolating the sounds of the wind across the sea, the discussions of crew members in other cabins, and the movement of the ship on the sea, he paid attention to the voices of the siblings before being drawn to the ancient palace.

"Weren't you just here a while ago, why are you back?" Envy asked as she saw Shung Yun materializing behind the entrance door and facing their thrones.

"I wish to have an audience with Pride," Shung Yun said as he focused on the huge door behind the thrones of the siblings.

"It will depend on his will," Envy said before moving her gaze away from Shung Yun.

"Raising your body cultivation before your spiritual Qi cultivation, the humans aren't as dumb as I thought," Wrath said as he saw through the state of Shung Yun's body, figuring out that he has broken through.

"That's because humans are always willing to learn new things outside their domain and expertise," Shung Yun said as he received a response from Pride.

Vanishing from the palace hall containing the six[6] siblings, he appeared in front of a cross-legged gorgeous being with chains over his limbs, neck and stomach.

"Seems like the pagoda still functions," Pride said as he looked at Shung Yun, "what do you wish to know?"

"Is there a way to reveal the tattooed map on my arm to a hide or paper map?" Shung Yun asked pride after getting his chance to speak.

"Controlling the blood I gave you to flow from your arm to the map you choose to use," Pride said as he gave an instant answer.

Hearing Pride's answer, Shung Yun immediately determined the problem with such method, "how do I control the blood of an immortal being of tremendous strength?"
