Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 One Condition

"You're finally here," Shung Yun said as his voice echoed in the building, "we've been waiting for you."

"Mhhbmm!" seeing her brother and a couple of enforcers entering the uncompleted building and arriving a dozen or so meters in front of her, Wang Nuo became agitated as she tried to speak despite the piece of cloth tied on her mouth.

"Shh! Shh!" Shung Yun shushed her as he caressed her face with the flat side of his dagger, "how you behave now will determine if I'll kill you in front of your brother, or I let you go. So, you should know what to do."

"Yo..!" finally seeing the one who murdered his parents and his younger sister, Wang Li's face was covered in shock and disbelief as he pointed at the one holding his surviving sister hostage.

"Guess you still remembered me," Shung Yun said as he looked at Wang Li, "you almost made me lost my freedom and my right to entertainment."

"Yo…you're supposed to be dead! I saw how deep your injury was. You should've died from that slash!" Wang Li said frenziedly as the expression of doubt and disbelief hung on his face.

"Why don't we forget about the past and focus on the present, while looking forward to the future," Shung Yun said as he removed his dagger from Wang Nuo's face.

"You're right," Feng Bo said as he took control of the conversion from Wang Li, "how about releasing the girl as a show of your respect to your ideology?"

"On one condition," Shung Yun said as he used his dagger to express the number, one[1].

"As long as it within the law of the town, I'll make sure I see to its finalization," Feng Bo said to the artistic deranged murderer.

"I want an apology from him," pointing his dagger at Wang Li, Shung Yun stated his condition.

Shocked after Shung Yun's condition, the enforcers, as well as, Wang Li all had confused expressions on their faces.

"He's definitely nuts," Feng Bo thought as his wariness against Shung Yun moved up a notch.

"I didn't quite get you. You said you want him to apologize to you for the freedom of the girl? Is that right?" Zhou Yao asked Shung Yun.

"Yeah, that's right. I just want him to apologize to me and I'll send his sister back to him," Shung Yun said as he repeated his abnormal condition.

"He's really serious," Zhou Yao thought before looking at Wang Li, "everything is now up to you."

"He killed my parents and Wang Qing, and he's saying he's willing to let Wang Nuo go if I only apologize to him? I.., I don't get it. I don't believe it," Wang Li felt conflicted at Shung Yun's action, "it doesn't fit well with his actions with my parents and Wang Qing."

Leaning his face towards the right side of Wang Nuo's face, Shung Yun whispered in her ear, "you see that? That's the conflict that arises when you can't grasp the actions of an individual. One moment he's doing something reasonable, the next moment his actions can't be understood."

Understanding the struggle within Wang Li, Feng Bo said to him, "your thoughts aren't necessary right now. It doesn't matter if his actions are way out of line with what you've seen from him, your thought should only focus on rescuing your sister. That's the most important thing right now."

Nodding his head after two[2] seconds, Wang Li took a step forward when he suddenly stopped due to the action from the teenager holding his sister hostage.

"For your sister's safety, I'll advise you to take a step backward," Shung Yun said as the edge of his dagger rested millimeters away from Wang Nuo's neck.

Taking a step back after Shung Yun's threat, Wang Li looked at him before bowing his head, "I'm sorry for forcing you to sell your horse to me and for trying to kill you."

"It's alright. The strong rules while the weak serve. That's the true law of the world," Shung Yun said as he cut the piece of cloth tied on Wang Nuo's mouth before also cutting the rope on her hands.

"Loosen your legs and go," he said as he unhung the bow on the left side of his waist before taking an arrow from the quiver hanging at the right side of his waist.

"What are you doing!? You promised to let her go!" Wang Li shouted as he moved forward.

Twtch!

The bottom of the shot out arrow shook continuously as it pierced the ground a few centimeters from Wang Nuo's right knee.

"The closer you get to me, the closer my arrow does to her," Shung Yun said as he took another arrow from his quiver before pointing it at Wang Nuo, "loosen the rope on your legs and walk to your brother. I'll no longer have control of what happens if you move too far from me, so this is necessary. I hope you understand?"

"I… I unders….understand," Wang Nuo shuttered as she trembled in fear and terror of the demon behind her.

"That's good. You can continue unfastening the rope in your legs now," Shung Yun said as he kept his eyes on Wang Li and the enforcers.

Unable to properly loosen the rope on her legs due to the vibration of her hands, Wang Nuo was soon covered with sweat as she grew more nervous as seconds go by.

"This sure is interesting," Shung Yun muttered as he let Wang Nuo entertain him.

Wussh!! Boom!!

Quickly locking his legs around Wang Nuo's neck and picking up his dagger beside him after he shot out his arrow at the fired attack, he said while holding his dagger to Wang Nuo's neck, "you really, really shouldn't be trying your luck enforcer."

"What the hell are you doing!?" Wang Li roared at the smart enforcer from Zhou Yao's unit.

Raising his both hands up and looking at Shung Yun, the smart enforcer said, "I couldn't bear watching as she suffers to loosen the rope on her legs. I have no intention of attacking you."

"He's really good with the bow and arrow," he thought as his test on Shung Yun failed, "if he couldn't respond to my shot out spiritual Qi, I would've attacked him at the next instant.

"I understand," Shung Yun said as he withdrew his dagger away from Wang Nuo's neck.

Purcch!!

"Ahwww!!" Wang Nuo screamed as a dagger pierced into her right upper arm, drawing out a huge amount of blood.

"Wang Nuo!" Wang Li shouted as he restrained himself from moving towards his sister.

"And I have no intention of breaking my promise," Shung Yun said as he pulled out his dagger from Wang Nuo's right arm before bandaging it with the piece of clothing used to previously tie her mouth, "fulfill your side of the bargain by waiting for her to come meet her brother, and I'll fulfill my side of the bargain by letting her reach her brother."

Turning towards the cause of his sister's injury, Wang Li ruthless glared at the smart enforcer, "if anything happens to my sister, I'll raze your entire family to the ground."

"He won't take such a risk again. I promise on my honor," Feng Bo said as he interceded for the smart enforcer.

"Hmph!" Wang Li snorted without responding to Feng Bo before focusing back on Shung Yun.

Knowing that it'll take way longer than ever for Wang Nuo to loosen the rope on her legs due to the injury on her right hand, Shung Yun leaped down from the crate he's sitting on before cutting the rope with his dagger.

"You can go meet your brother now," he said as he smiled at Wang Nuo, acting like a hero that saved a damsel from great harm.

Moving back to the crate while facing the great threats present, he took hold of his bow resting on the crate before taking out an arrow from his quiver.
