"What's happening!?" coming to a pause all of a sudden, Shung Yun uttered in confusion as he sensed a dark and gloomy aura coursing through his entire body.
Tnn! Sllch!!
Blood erupted into the air before splashing on Wang Li's face, generating a salvage look that stared at the dazed look on the face of the teenager a few inches from him.
Having his anger slowly dissipate, a terrified expression crept onto his face as he took a couple of steps backward with his hands holding his sword trembling.
"Wh…what did you do, Wang Li!? No blood is to be shed in the town!" white robed male youth[2] exclaimed as he looked at the bloody cut going from the right shoulder of the challenging male teenager down to his right ribs.
"I…. I didn't mean it. I have no wish to harm him," Wang Li said as he looked around him.
"We should leave before the enforcers arrive," he said as he began moving away from the bleeding middle-stage male teenager in front of him.
"What about the wild-horse? Do we leave with it?" white robed male youth[4] asked Wang Li as they prepared to call a transport carriage.
"Leaving with it will just make the enforcers locate us faster," Wang Li said as he stopped an empty transport carriage drawn by a single horse.
"What about them? They saw what happened," white robed male youth[3] asked Wang Li while directing his attention to the passersby and other people in the street as they entered into the transport carriage.
"They'll all keep their mouths shut if they know what's good for them," Wang Li said out loud before telling the carriage driver to move.
Dropping to his knees, Shung Yun sighed as he touched the blood flowing out of the cut on his body, "I really have a lot to learn from Nether king Beelzebub. This must be his punishment for me not keeping Nue Chu's heart close to me."
Looking at the thin black colored snake wrapped around his right wrist, he said, "you saved my life, Mangro. I don't think I can survive a slash to my neck."
"I could only deflect his attack away from your neck, my king. If I was faster, I could've stopped his sword after I figured out something wasn't right with you," Mangro sounded disappointed as he said to Shung Yun.
"Well, that goes for the both of us," Shung Yun groaned as he staggered to his feet, taking his knees off the puddle of blood on the ground, "I need to stop this bleeding."
Moving into the store he came out from, blood flowed down his injury before dropping on the ground, creating blood trails that led back to the puddle of blood on the street.
"Great storm god!" the female youth exclaimed with a shock expression across her face after seeing the blood covered pale faced male teenager entering her family's store.
Pointing at his injury, Shung Yun asked the female youth, "do you have any pill or herb that can heal this?"
"I… W..we don't sell any healing pill or herb. Only the m…me….medical hall have such pills," the female youth stuttered in-between her words as she said to Shung Yun.
"Alright. Sorry for the blood on the floor by the way," Shung Yun said to the female youth before slowly moving out of the store.
Passing through the door, he said to his wild-horse, "squat down a little, Haru."
Hearkening to Shung Yun's words, Haru crouch down, presenting his back for him.
Getting on Haru's back, Shung Yun pulled out a map from his storage ring before looking through it.
"Head to that location, Haru," he said after displaying his destination on the map to Haru through the telepathic link between them.
"Alright," Haru said before dashing towards the location of the medical hall at his fastest speed acceptable speed.
Leaving the medical hall with a new robe after fourteen[14] minutes of his arrival, Shung Yun looked less pale as he made his way to the black colored wild-horse a few fts from the medical hall's entrance.
Let's go find out everything about the guy that almost killed me, Haru," he said as he sent the location of his destination to his wild-horse.
Seeing the location, as well as, the routes to be taken of his king's next location in his mind, Haru immediately went into action, bolting to the destination with the acknowledged speed of a wild-horse.
Arriving in front of a thirty six[36] high tower-like building, Shung Yun climbed down from Haru's back before walking through its door.
Seeing people of different ages and sizes moving rowdily in the round hall after entering into the tower-like building, he walked towards the round table in the middle of the hall.
"What do you wish to know, young man?" the middle-stage middle aged man sitting across the round table asked Shung Yun.
"Everything the Unveiling Eye have about an outer sect disciple of the Flowing River Sect named, Wang Li," Shung Yun said to the middle-stage middle aged man.
"That would be one hundred and fifty[50] duan silver pieces," the middle-stage middle aged man said in an instant.
Activating the inscriptions on his storage ring by creating a thought in his mind, Shung Yun took out three[3] tiny bags each containing fifty[50] duan silver pieces.
Ringggg!!!
Pressing the alarm button on his desk, the middle-stage middle aged man called to attention the workers in the hall.
"File of outer sect disciple, Wang Li," he said while amplifying his voice with his spiritual Qi.
Coming to the middle-stage middle aged man with a two[2] centimeters thick book, attendant[?] passed the book to him before walking away.
"This is all we have on outer sect disciple, Wang Li," the middle-stage middle aged man said as he passed the manual to Shung Yun.
"It's enough. Thanks," Shung Yun said as he skimmed through the pages of the book before walking towards the exit door.
Leaving the round hall, he climbed on Haru's back without needing him to squat, "it's almost time I take the doll back home."
"Let's return the doll to senior Bai Qhan before heading to Mr. Guchun's organization," he said to Haru while still reading the book containing information on the outer sect disciple that almost caused him to lose to death.
"A nice home he got there," reading the information contained in the two[2] centimeters thick book, he muttered as Haru rode him to Bai Qhan's house, "seeing the sorrowful look on his face when he realized he has lost everything he holds dearly will really be interesting."
Dusting the smile from his face, he continued reading while Haru got closer to Bai Qhan's house at the far end of the east region of Yuhan Town.
Arriving at Bai Qhan's house nineteen[19] minutes later, Shung Yun saw his guqin teacher sitting in the veranda of his house with his guqin in his thigh and his fingers on the strings.
"Come hear your dad play, Miss Yi," he said as he brought down the female doll from Haru's saddle before sitting cross-legged in front of Bai Qhan with the doll sitting on his left thigh and its body resting on his left ribs.
After seven[7] minutes of calm and tranquility, the beautiful music came to a stop, leaving the crickets and insects in the grasses around to give a different sound and mood.
"You're right, Miss Yi. Your dad is an awesome guqin musician," Shung Yun said as he smiled at the female doll.
"Seems like Yi'er really likes you," Bai Qhan said with a smile on his face as he looked at Shung Yun, "she spoke only to you without letting me hear her."
"That's because she takes me as her big brother," Shung Yun said as he softly pinched the right cheek of the female doll, "and I take her as my little sister."
"I'm happy you see her that way, kid. You better come see her even after you're done learning from me," Bai Qhan said as he stretched out his hands towards the female doll, prompting Shung Yun to pass it to him, "how was your sight-seeing, Yi'er?"
"I'll be leaving now, senior," Shung Yun said as he stood up to his feet, "see you tomorrow, Miss Yi."
