"That was intense!" Mangro said as he loosened himself a little from Shung Yun's left wrist.
"Imagining his pained expression in my mind is already generating joy and excitement in me,'' Shung Yun mumbled as he raised his smiling face towards the dark sky.
"Are you okay, my king?" Mangro asked after hearing Shung Yun mumbling.
"I'll be much better in the next few minutes if everything I'm thinking about goes as planned," Shung Yun said as he walked through the empty paved streets of Shung clan's courtyard.
"May I know if I'll be of service in your plan, my king?" Mangro asked Shung Yun.
"Making good use of all I own is a realm I'm aspiring to get to. And you're one of what I own, Mangro," Shung Yun said as he closed in on Elder Huifan's home.
"I'll give my best, my king," Mangro said as he exuded a happy expression on his tiny face for the possible good deed he's about to carry out.
"He actually have a Qi birth realm cultivator standing guard in front of his gate," Shung Yun thought as he stood a few meters away from the two[2] meters high fence surrounding the three[3] story building within it.
"Take care of him, Mangro," he ordered the snake coiled around his left wrist.
Hearkening unto Shung Yun's order, Mangro uncoiled himself from his left wrist before slithering towards his target.
Not waiting for Mangro to reach his target, Shung Yun came out of hiding before walking towards the two[2] meters high wooden gate.
"Who are you?" the cultivator standing guard asked as he tightened his grip on his spear.
"A friend of Shung Huifan," Shung Yun said as he moved closer to the guard with a friendly smile on his face, "he and I go way back during the time of our youth. I can't believe I'll get to see him again after so long."
Taking hold of the flaming lamp on the ground beside him, the cultivator pointed it towards Shung Yun as he said, "I don't know if you take me as a joke or what, but a friend of my boss won't look so young. You better tell me who you are and what you want before I make use of my spear."
"Fine. You got me," Shung Yun said with a smile on his face as he got closer to the cultivator, 'I'm here to steal your boss's money. No hard feelings."
"You must be stupi...,"
Scrs!
"Wh...what's happening to me!?" the guard thought as he gradually lost the feeling from every part of his body save for his eyes.
"I'll be back in a few minutes," Shung Yun said to the paralyzed guard before leaping over the two[2] meters fence with ease.
"Clear the path, Mangro," he said to the obscure snake beside him as he walked towards the door of the three[3] story building.
"Got it," Mangro said as he shot towards the door of Elder Huifan's home.
With his terrifying speed, his paralyzing poison and his tiny figure, Mangro easily immobilized the entire family of Elder Huifan inside the house in only thirty four[34] seconds.
Krl!!
Pushing the door of the mansion open, Shung Yun was greeted with three[3] paralyzed upper-stage teenagers and two[2] paralyzed lower-stage youths of both genders.
"I will definitely get recognized if any of them sees my face," Shung Yun thought as he looked around the wide living room, "and my record within the village for the last seventeen[17] years will be wasted."
"The path is clear, my king," Mangro said as he slithered towards Shung Yun.
"Do you have any way to take care of their eyes, Mangro?" Shung Yun asked the approaching snake.
"No, my king. My venom isn't that potent yet," Mangro said as he stopped in front of Shung Yun.
"That's really sad," Shung Yun looked disappointed after hearing Mangro's answer, "and covering my face will make any of them that see me suspect that all this is done by someone they'll be able to recognize."
"I can turn their faces towards the ground, my king," Mangro said to Shung Yun.
"You know you have a small build, right?" Shung Yun asked the tiny snake beside his feet.
"I'm a full-rank middle stage fierce beast, my king. My body strength isn't lower than any beast that isn't a strong-type beast no matter the size of the beast," Mangro said confidently to Shung Yun.
"Now that's hard to believe," Shung Yun said as he looked at Mangro, "make me believe what you said, Mangro."
"Alright," Mangro acknowledged Shung Yun's words as he went to carry it out.
Slithering towards the paralyzed individual closest to him, he coiled around his right ear facing the ceiling before pulling it down to the right, turning his face to the ground.
"That's one hell of an idea," Shung Yun said as he got impressed by Mangro's resourcefulness.
Doing the same thing to the other four[4] paralyzed individuals, Mangro got their faces turned towards the ground.
"Do you believe me now, my king?" he asked Shung Yun.
"I guess I do," Shung Yun said as he walked past the five[5] paralyzed individuals before heading to the upper floors.
Searching every room in Elder Huifan's three[3] story home, he found a five[5] inches high square box stashed filled with duan silver pieces and two[2] duan gold pieces at the top.
He also found a manual containing a spear battle technique, a spherical object with half of it looking like a white pearl and the other half looking like a grey stone, an octagonal medallion releasing an Essence aura and a detailed map of Haikan Province.
"He's definitely a dantian unsealing realm cultivator," Shung Yun said as he packaged his loots in a bag, "time to leave."
Picking up the bag, he took the stairs to the first floor before walking towards the door.
Seeing Shung Yun leaving, Mangro slithered towards him before wrapping around his left leg.
Arriving at the gate, he pulled it open enough for his body and his bag to pass through.
"Let's go, partner," dropping his loots' bag beside him, he lifted the paralyzed Qi birth realm guard on his left shoulder before picking up his loots' bag with his right hand.
Arriving at the huge red gate with Shung written on the other side of it, Shung Yun knocked on it to call the attention of the two[2] Shung clan's descendants standing guard in front of it.
"Who's that?" one of the guards asked after hearing the knock on the other side of the gate.
"Council member Shung Yun," Shung Yun said as he introduced himself.
Immediately getting into motion, the guards opened the gate for Shung Yun.
Noticing the dilemma of the two[2] guards to question a member of their clan's council, Shung Yun said, "I was sent to investigate the clan for possible spies from Quing village. And the guy on my shoulder has the highest likely hood of being a Quing village's spy due to the limited information the clan has on him."
"The clan and the village as a whole is really fortunate for senior to fish out a spy of Quing village before he could take back information to his village," guard[1] said respectfully to Shung Yun.
"I'm the same as the both of you. I'm just doing my job," Shung Yun said as he began walking away from the gate, "and the both of you should feel free to question anyone you feel is suspicious."
"From a captain of thirty nine[39] soldiers to a council member of a clan with over thirty thousand[30000] population. How the fate of a person can change in a flash," guard[1] muttered as he looked at the gradually vanishing Shung Yun.
"Despite being the youngest council member in the entire village, he didn't act like he own the world," guard[2] said as he looked at the gradually vanishing Shung Yun.
"Why is the gate open? And where is Jun Haiyi?" Elder Huifan asked no one in particular as he looked around him.
