Chapter 87 - Chapter 87 Preparations

Four[4] days later....

Twii!! Clang!! Twii!! Clang!! [x8]

Moving forward as he repeatedly shot at the approaching upper-stage male youth in front of him, Shung Yun hung his bow at the left side of his waist before unstrapping the battle-axe behind him.

Clang!

Taking a step backward after clashing his battle-axe with the saber of the upper-stage Qi birth realm warrior cultivator, he hurriedly took another step backward as he dodged the followed up saber attack of the upper-stage male youth.

Continuing his attack, the upper-stage male youth took a step forward before slashing his saber upwards and towards Shung Yun's chin.

Turning his body to the right and moving his head backwards, Shung Yun dodged the saber attack to his chin by an inch.

Seeing how close Shung Yun is to him after dodging his attack, the upper-stage male youth pushed his upper body forward before throwing his elbow towards his face.

Bam!! Dmm!!

Taking three[3] steps backwards after receiving the elbow of the upper-stage male youth on his nose, Shung Yun had blood sliding down the left part of his nose as his eyes focused on the body bent upper-stage male youth.

Enduring the pain coursing through stomach, the upper-stage male youth raised his head as he looked at Shung Yun, "I never thought you would react so fast, Sir Yun. You're getting better at dodging at close distances."

"I still got hit on my nose by you, Jia Ding," Shung Yun said as he strapped his battle-axe on the leather strap on his back.

"You say it as if it's a bad thing," the upper-stage male youth thought as he cleaned his face with a towel previously placed on the bench just outside the battle stage of his boss's training hall, "I doubt that you're really a body tempering cultivator."

"Tomorrow by this same time," Shung Yun said as a silver flask appeared in his hand before he drank the liquid content within it.

"Alright," Jia Ding said as he sat down on the bench with the towel around his neck and a bronze flask in his hand.

Drawing in spiritual Qi from the surrounding, Shung Yun used it to remove the sweat and the foul odor on him before leaving the training hall.

Retrieving Haru from the stable, he rode towards the previous Guzhen Street which was now covered by piles of building wreckages and debris, with over hundreds of topless men not more than sixty[60] years of age lifting a copper, circular pans on their heads containing smooth edged bricks of equal sizes.

"Mr. Yun," a middle-stage elderly man with white hairs among the many blacks of his hair said as he walked towards Shung Yun.

"Senior Ouyang, how's it going?" Shung Yun asked the lead engineering in charge of the construction of his estate.

"Great," the middle-stage elderly man said as he stood beside Shung Yun, "with the way things are progressing, we might be to get it done before the end of the eighth month of next year."

"That's a year and two[2] months from now," Shung Yun mumbled as he thought of plans concerning the proceedings of his estate.

"Is there a way to shorten the amount of time spent on the construction of the estate?" he asked after seconds of mind calculations.

"Increasing the amount of workers will easily take care of that," Hao Ouyang said as he answered Shung Yun's question.

"That will call for more expenses," Shung Yun muttered after hearing Hao Ouyang's answer.

Shaking his head after a few moments of deliberation, he discarded the thought of speeding up the construction of his estate for the time being.

"If there's an increment in the production of the bricks and other materials due to certain reasons, you can come find me in Guchun Inscription Company," he said to the lead engineer beside him.

"Alright," Hao Ouyang said before watching the young man leave on his mount.

"I will leave Yuhan Town tomorrow morning," Shung Yun thought as he rode on Haru's back towards his inscription company, "I just have to assign tasks to the inscribers and the other employees before leaving."

Making preparations to continue his journey to locate the opportunity for his growth, he headed to his company before climbing to the last floor and entering the hall reserved for the four[4] inscribers of Guchun Inscription Company.

"For how long would you be outside of town?" the upper-stage middle aged woman among the inscribers asked after hearing Shung Yun's words.

"I have no idea," Shung Yun said as he drew on an empty paper supported on an easel.

"Leaving the company without a leading figure will make decision making inept," the middle-stage elderly man in charge of the purchase of raw materials for inscription said as he looked at Shung Yun.

"That's why I'm here," Shung Yun said as he continued his drawing, "the four[4] of you will form a council with Mr. Long as the council leader. He will have the highest say on issues concerning the progress and stability of the company."

"Well, I did my best," keeping the paint brush, he said as he looked at his finished zombie with a head way out of proportion.

Turning to face the pillars of his company, he said, "some of you have been with Mr. Guchun since he established this company, while some joined in as the company grew. But the most important thing is that you all have stayed so long in this company to be able to see the growth and progress the company has made to get to it current height, and I'm sure you all won't want to see it plummet back to the ground."

"Guchun gave me the opportunity to stay in a safe environment and learn inscriptions, while he went on dangerous adventures and expeditions to seek for resources to establish a company I can work in," Mr. Long, the middle-stage elderly man, said as he reminisced about his past, "as long as I'm alive, I'll do all I can to never let Guchun's labor go to waste."

"When you stood us about Guchun's death, I was disheartened because the promise I made to him isn't yet fulfilled," the upper-stage middle aged woman said as she looked at Shung Yun, "but I knew from that moment that my promise was no longer just a promise, but a pledge to avenge his death."

With each pillar saying some words of conviction to the growth of the company, Shung Yun said, "Mr. Guchun's memory is indeed within good hands. I'll leave you all to carry on with your businesses."

"Have a safe trip, little Yun. May the storm god be kind on you," the pillars said as they gave their well wishes to Shung Yun.

"Same to you all," Shung Yun said with the ancient hand gestures before leaving the hall and walking towards his office.

Not long after entering his office, a knock sounded on the door.

"Who is that?" resting on the back of his chair, Shung Yun asked.

"It's Tsu Xie," a voice sounded out after Shung Yun's question.

Hearing the voice of one of his employees, Shung Yun said, "come in."

Pushing open the door, a middle-stage female youth with a bright countenance stepped into the office.

"What is it, Miss Tsu Xie?" Shung Yun asked the pretty lady.

"A man down-stair is asking to see you," Tsu Xie said to Shung Yun.

"Did he say why he wishes to see me?" Shung Yun asked.

"He said it concerning the company," Tsu Xie said as she answered.

"Send him in," Shung Yun said as he had a rough guess of who the person asking to see him is and why he's asking to see him.

Hearing a knock on his door a minute after Tsu Xie left the office, he knew the man asking for him was outside his door.

"Come in," sitting forward with his elbows on his desk and his palms together, Shung Yun prepared for the visitor.
