"Understood, my king," Haru answered while neighing before bolting after the fat middle-stage middle aged man's carriage.
"Go left," Shung Yun said as he communicated telepathically to Haru.
Adhering to his king's command, Haru turned towards the left before bolting forward at his fastest speed.
"I could've made a lot of money selling my land to that young man," Yang Be thought as he drank from the silver wine cup in his hand, "if only Bai Tzu wasn't threatening the lives of my family."
"Neigh!" the horses pulling the four[4] wheeled carriage neighed as they stopped in front of a black colored wild-horse with red hooves.
"What is going on?" opening a small window on carriage in front of him, Yang Be asked his carriage driver.
"Hello, Mr. Be," Shung Yun's voice sounded as he came down from Haru's back, "let's continue our discussion away from prying ears."
"M…m….Mr. Yun, wh…what are you doing over here?" Yang Be opened the curtain of the carriage entrance as he stuttered while questioning the teenager walking towards him.
"I just answered that question, Mr. Be," Shung Yun said as he arrived in front of the carriage's door, "mind if I join you?"
"C….come in," Yang Be said as he shifted further away from the entrance at Shung Yun's direction.
"Thanks. It's really nice to stay away from the heat of the sun," Shung Yun said as he entered the carriage, "you can tell your servant to continue going."
"Move on," Yang Be said through the small window before closing it after his command.
Seeing the wild-horse leaving the way without any controller, the upper-stage male youth riding the carriage rocked his halter, prompting the horses pulling the carriage to continue forward.
"Tell me, Mr. Be, what are you terrified of?" looking at the fat middle-stage middle aged man beside him, Shung Yun asked.
Widening his eyes in shock, Yang Be quickly concealed it before saying, "I…I'm n..not terrified of anything."
"Is that so? I thought that was why you refused to sell your landed property despite the price I offered," Shung Yun said as he scratched the right corner of his forehead.
Getting himself together after seeing Shung Yun's carefree attitude, Yang Be said, "the reason I refused to sell my land and the properties on it, is because of the meaning it holds to me. The land and its properties have been handed down through several generations before getting to me. Selling it off will make my ancestors bash their heads in their graves."
"That would be really interesting to watch," Shung Yun thought as a sad expression sprouted on his face, "that would be really sad indeed."
"That's right. I'm glad you can understand," Yang Be said as he sighed in relief.
"Because I can understand you, I'm willing to pay five[5] times the standard price for your land and its properties. I'm sure that will be enough to pacify your ancestors in their graves," Shung Yun said as he looked at Yang Be.
Going speechless for over eighteen[18] seconds, Yang Be's mind was disoriented as Shung Yun's words shook his entire being.
"I…. I... T... W... M.... A…..," going through several thoughts to respond to Shung Yun's offer, he opened his mouth only to close it at the next moment.
Going silent once again, Yang Be responded after twelve[12] seconds, "I…. I can't accept. I refuse your offer."
"For my wife and my son's sake, I can't let my heart be swayed," he thought as he reinforced his resolve.
"The issue we're facing isn't money then," with his head resting on the seat of the carriage, Shung Yun turned it towards Yang Be as he spoke to him, "your land is right inside the lands I purchased today, that means it's a hindrance to my goal."
Having sweat droplets rolling down his face and the back of his neck as Shung Yun's eyes rested on his face, Yang Be avoided eye contact with the being sitting right beside him.
"Why I'm I terrified when he looks at me?" he questioned himself as Shung Yun's eyes rested on him.
Continuing on, Shung Yun said, "my goals will be met one way or the other, you should do well to know that."
Opening the small window a few inches from the carriage driver, he said to Yang Be's servant, "stop me here."
Opening the entrance curtain, he looked behind him at Yang Be before saying, "you have ten[10] hours to make your choice."
Watching the entrance curtain close, Yang Be had no relief at the exit of Shung Yun, instead he felt more restless than he did a second ago.
"I must let Bai Tzu know," he said as he poured the wine in the wine flask into his silver cup, spilling some of its content in the process due to the trembling of his hand.
"You're in charge of finding out what he's afraid out," Shung Yun communicated telepathically as he assigned a task to his controlled descendant of the beast race.
"Acknowledged, my king," a spider resting on the collar of Yang Be's robe responded to Shung Yun's instructions.
"If most tiny descendants of the beast race weren't having low intelligent in order for me to carryout communication with them, I would've had more spies under my command," Shung Yun thought as he leaped on the back of the black colored horse moving at the same pace as the horses pulling Yang Be's carriage.
Riding on his carriage for a couple of minutes before arriving at his house, Yang Be came down from his carriage before hurrying towards the devil of his life.
Moving towards the underground basement forty[40] meters into the ground of his house, he entered the metal and wooden construct taking him straight to the ground after moving the lever at the side.
Pushing open the four[4] feet high wooden door, Yang Be walked out the construct before walking towards the room in front of him.
"I received information that you were invited to Fangyi's restaurant by an unknown party," a middle-stage middle aged man sitting cross-legged on a wooden crate said as he looked at the fat middle aged man that walked into the room.
"Yes. It was regarding purchasing the lands within a square mile of Guzhen Street, my lands included," Yang Be said as he stood respectively in front of the lower-stage dantian unsealing realm cultivator.
"What's the outcome?" Bai Tzu asked as he looked at Yang Be.
"Every land owner within the range of the buyer's interest agreed to sell their lands to him," Yang Be said to Bai Tzu.
"All of them!?" Bai Tzu asked with an apparent shock expression on his face.
"Yes," Yang Be answered as he understood Bai Tzu's current state of mind.
"If I wasn't aware of the details and heard of such news, I'll also be as shock as he is, or even more shocked than he is," he thought as he waited for Bai Tzu to organize his mind.
"How, how did he make more than seventeen[17] land owners agree to his request?" Bai Tzu asked Yang Be after reorganizing himself.
"By offering three[3] times the standard price," Yang Be said with goose-bumps shredding through the skin of his arms just remembering the price the teenager mentioned.
"That's…," unable to easily categorize such action with his words, Bai Tzu went silent after his first word left his mouth.
"That's unbelievable," finally putting out words for Shung Yun's insane action, he asked Yang Be, "what about you? What do you do in front of such an offer?"
"I refused the offer. The lives of my family are more important to me than money," Yang Be said humbly.
"It seems your family is more important to you than I thought, Yang Be," Bai Tzu said as he smiled at Yang Be, "I'll make sure no harm comes to them until our mission in Yuhan Town finalizes."
"Thank you," Yang Be said as he bowed his head towards Bai Tzu in appreciation.
"It's alright. You deserve it," Bai Tzu said as he closed his eyes, "if there's nothing else, you can take your leave."
"T…there's something," Yang Be said after Bai Tzu words remembered him of something important.
"What is it?" Bai Tzu asked without opening his eyes.
"The one who purchased the lands chased after me when I left the restaurant after refusing his offer. He granted me another offer for my land and its properties," Yang Be said to Bai Tzu.
"How much did he offer you this time?" Bai Tzu asked as he grew curious for Yang Be's answer.
"Five[5] times the standard price of an acre of land and its properties," Yang Be's tone and flow of his words made it seem like his words were weighing on his tongue.
"O" with his mouth in an O shape, Bai Tzu eyes pooped open in shock and disbelief as he looked at Yang Be.
