Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 Abnormal Fury

"A sky-walker realm cultivator!" Shung Yun stared in amazement at the newly arrived mediator.

"Greetings to lady Shen," Mr. Guchun and the descendants of Tanji family cupped their fists and bowed their heads towards the floating lady.

"You all should know the rules of my underground gaming event," lady Shen said as she looked down at Mr. Guchun and co, "I won't tolerate any more disputes from you all, no matter how it started."

"We understand," Mr. Guchun and co. said as they withdrew their auras before backing off.

"See you two[2] outside," young master Bokan said as he rode out of the underground gaming event together with his entourage.

"A battle between dantian unsealing realm cultivators will really be interesting to watch," Shung Yun thought with a smile as he drowned himself with fantasies of the battle between Mr. Guchun and the Tanji family elder.

"Let's get going," Mr. Guchun said to Shung Yun as he prepared to continue heading towards Ren Hu.

Emerging from his fantasies after hearing Mr. Guchun's words, Shung Yun trailed behind him as they headed for his next possible partner.

"Ren Hu, it's been a while since we last spoke to each other," Mr. Guchun said as he and Shung Yun arrived in front of the lower-stage elderly man on a plain yellow robe, "can we sit?"

"You both can," Ren Hu said as he pointed at the seats beside him.

"You have a nice horse, kid," he said to Shung Yun after he and Mr. Guchun has taken their seats, "I never expected you would beat Bokan to become the champion in just three[3] days of your arrival."

"I thank senior for your kind words," Shung Yun said with a smile on his face, "this junior was just lucky to obtain such a rare and fast wild-horse."

"You don't have to be so humble. If luck was as easy as you put it to be, everyone would've had your wild-horse," Ren Hu said to Shung Yun before looking at Mr. Guchun, "what do you want to discuss with me, Guchun?"

"My young friend here wishes to establish an estate in the inner sanctum of the city," Mr. Guchun said as he signaled to Shung Yun during his first sentence, "and he would like for you to promote it after it's built."

"Why do you want to establish an estate, kid?" Ren Hu asked Shung Yun.

"To finance my cultivation and form connections with people from all paths of life," Shung Yun said as he wiped the smile from his face, keeping a solemn and serious expression.

"An estate will definitely be able to give you that. But you'll need a huge amount of duan gold pieces, as well as someone with connections in town to introduce your newly established estate to the big shots around," Ren Hu said as he picked up his wine cup before taking a sip, "you coming to me means you have the second part covered. What about the first part?"

"The first part is already covered," Shung Yun said to Ren Hu, "I just need to acquire your assistance before the job commences."

"Although, there's no estate in the inner sanctum of the town, there's a hotel in it. Your estate will tackle the interests of Bai Ku and his investors, thereby also causing trouble for me and my business. I can't risk that for an idea that has no promising future," Ren Hu said as he shook his head, "find a way to solve the imminent issue with Bai Ku and then come find me."

Understanding Ren Hu's worry, Mr. Guchun stayed silent as he contemplated on how he could help Shung Yun.

"I understand. I'll see senior later," Shung Yun said as he got up to his feet before cupping his hand in Ren Hu's direction, "thank you for advice."

Acknowledging Shung Yun's gratitude with a nod of his head, Ren Hu went back to watching the ongoing race in the caged arena.

"See you later, Ren Hu," Mr. Guchun said as he got to his feet before walking away with Shung Yun.

"What are you going to do now, kid?" he asked Shung Yun as they walked towards their horses.

"Buying the land and starting the construction of the estate. Every other issue can come later," Shung Yun said as they got closer to Haru and Mr. Guchun's horse.

"If you ever need any assistance from me, I'll try to my best to assist you if I can," Mr. Guchun said to Shung Yun.

"Thank you in advance then, senior," Shung Yun said as he came to a stop before cupping his fists at Mr. Guchun.

"It's the least I can do considering the amount of duan gold pieces you brought to me," Mr. Guchun said as he smiled at Shung Yun.

No longer saying anything throughout the walk until they arrived in front of the stable, Shung Yun and Mr. Guchun both took their horses before leaving the underground gaming event through the orb decorated underground pathway.

"How dare that old fool obstruct me from getting that horse!?" young master Bokan paced about in front of the Stallion House's gate.

"Young master isn't always this angry," elder Tanji Bo Yue thought as he grew concerned for Bokan's attitude.

He hasn't ever seen Bokan grow so furious because he lost to someone or because he failed to get what he wanted. This was the first time he was coming across it.

"They're finally out," young master Bokan said as he caught sight of Shung Yun and Mr. Guchun, "restrain the old fool while I handle the kid."

"Young master, you shouldn't recklessly attack Mr. Guchun," elder Tanji Bo Yue said as he got in front of Bokan, "his strength is the reason he has his fame, and not his business or wealth."

"Aren't you both in the same cultivation stage?" Bokan sounded annoyed as he asked elder Bo Yue.

Calming himself down and not getting angry at Bokan's tone, elder Bo Yue said to him, "retreating for now and seeking more help from the family will be the best thing to do. And we can also use more time to create a better plan to deal with Guchun."

With his mind still clear despite his abnormal fury, Bokan inhaled deeply before exhaling after a few seconds.

"Alright. We'll retreat for now," he said before climbing on the back of his horse and riding away with his entourage.

"Looks like they left," Mr. Guchun said as he watched Bokan and his family members leave, "I would've taught them a few lessons."

"And I would've love to watch it happen," Shung Yun thought as he crossed the gate having two[2] horses at both sides with Mr. Guchun at beside him.

"How can I get a pass token to the inner sanctum?" he asked Mr. Guchun after entering into the orderly street of the inner sanctum of Yuhan Town.

"If your strength or reputation can't get you one, you just have to use your wealth to get it," Mr. Guchun said to Shung Yun.

"How much does it cost?" Shung Yun asked while looking at Mr. Guchun.

"Ten[10] duan gold pieces," Mr. Guchun conveyed to Shung Yun as they slowly rode their horses in the stone-paved road.

"Where can I get it?" Shung Yun asked after knowing his movements for the next few days or weeks.

"The Divine Court of Yuhan Town," Mr. Guchun said with a respectful expression on his face.

"I haven't heard of it before," Shung Yun said as he tried to remember if he'd come across it when looking through the map of Yuhan Town.

"Only a qualified few know about the Divine Court. It's situated in the middle of the three[3] mega powers in Yuhan Town. The Flowing River Sect, the Tanji Family, and the Gu Zhu Family," Mr. Guchun explained to Shung Yun as he moved his horse in the opposite direction of the entrance gate of Yuhan Town.
