"For f*ck sake, can the both of you shut the hell up!" the middle-stage middle aged roared as he looked at the direction of granny Xi and Mie Ai.
"Why did you stop, my king?" Mangro asked as he coiled beside Shung Yun.
"I just figured out something," Shung Yun said as he stared at the ground.
"What is it, my king?" Mangro asked.
"Why am I shooting at them? I derive no peace in killing them without gaining anything in return. And I have no idea if they're enemies or just strangers," Shung Yun said with his gaze still on the ground.
"Well.., I have no idea, my king. But seven[7] humans coming towards us isn't a good for us," Mangro said as he slowly digested his meal.
"Well, it doesn't matter. But if they have to die, then they should do so screaming with flames slowly burning their flesh away," Shung Yun said as he hung his bow back on his waist.
"Wait for me here, Mangro. I'm going swinging," he said as he looked at the tree branch closest to him.
Lifting himself off the ground, he leaped to the tree branch before catching hold of it.
Strengthening his grip on the branch, he rocked his legs forward and backward a few times before flinging himself to the next tree branch in front of him.
Sharing a telepathic link with beasts he submitted, Shung Yun was able to tap into Ikunga's memories and get a few swinging lessons from it.
Using the huge leaves of the trees as cover, he silently closed in on the five[5] surviving cultivators hiding behind several tree trunks in front of him.
"He's stopped," Mie Ai said before slowing poking out her head from the trunk of the tree in front of her.
"What is it?" the middle-stage middle aged man asked Mie Ai.
"I don't see him," Mie Ai said as she withdrew her head back behind the tree trunk, "he isn't with his horse."
"Then where could he be? Are you sure you looked properly?" granny Xi asked as she looked at Mie Ai.
"I don't think I did. Why don't you see for yourself, old hag," Mie Ai snapped, irritated at granny Xi.
"I better do. Can't trust the eyes of someone who flirts with every man who speaks to her," granny XI said before poking out her head from the tree trunk in front of her.
"What is it, pale face?" the middle-stage middle aged asked the youngest individual in his squad.
"I heard a sound coming from the trees," the pale faced middle-stage male youth said as he looked above him.
"We're in a forest, pale face. Some beasts move through the trees," the middle-stage middle aged man said to the pale faced youth.
"He's here!!" Mie Ai shouted as she saw the horse's owner moving high up in the sky while going for the bow and arrow hanging on his waist.
Fixing the bottom of his arrow on the bowstring of his bow, Shung Yun drew it backwards before releasing it towards the strongest middle-stage Qi birth realm cultivator in the group.
Twii!! Whoosh!! Purch!!
"Ahh!!" the middle-stage middle aged screamed in pain as an arrow pierced into his right thigh.
Falling after reaching his maximum point, Shung Yun retrieved another arrow from his quiver before carrying out the necessary procedures.
Twii!! Whoosh!! Purch!!
"Owrh!!" the lower-stage middle aged man with a nose ring groaned as Shung Yun's arrow pinned his left shoulder to the tree behind him.
Trch!!
Sounds of dried leaves been crushed rang out as granny Xi, Mie Ai and pale face began escaping from the dreadful archer.
"I have the young lady," Shung Yun communicated telepathically with Mangro and Haru as he fixed an arrow on the bowstring of his bow.
Having the head of his arrow aimed at the right leg of Mie Ai, he drew his bowstring to the limit before releasing after calculating the timing of her legs.
Twii!! Whoosh!!! Purch!! Prch!! Prch!!
Bursting out of Mie Ai's right thigh with blood on its head, the arrow shot through a tree before getting its shaft stuck in the second tree trunk.
"Aahhh!!" Mie Ai screamed as she fell to the ground with blood oozing out of the hole on her thigh.
"I can't die here," the pale faced youth ran as fast as he can to escape from Shung Yun, "I haven't gotten my revenge on that lying beast of a human. I won't die until I have that bastard's bloody severed head in my hands."
Scrs!!
"Ouch!" he exclaimed in pain as he slowed down to look at the back of his left foot, "what the hell bi..."
Thud!!
"How would your first battle with a human be, little Ru," Mangro thought as he coiled beside the paralyzed human with a pale face.
Trch! Trch! Trch! Trch!
"It's running towards me," granny Xi thought as she caught sight of the wild horse speeding towards her, "should I try subduing it?"
"Roar!!" Haru roared as he got closer to granny Xi with its razor-sharp teeth being revealed for the rays of the sun to illuminate.
"Impossible!!" granny Xi yelled out as she sensed the aura brimming out of the wild horse, "how could a wild horse cross into the middle-stage fierce beast realm!? That shouldn't be possible!"
Catching up to granny Xi, Haru raised his forelimbs high into the air before bringing it down on her.
"Get out of my way!" granny Xi shouted as she lashed her tip glowing whip at Haru's defenseless stomach.
Not retreating, Haru strengthened his hindlimbs on the ground as he forced his forelimbs to descend faster.
Srcch!! Bam!!
Blood spurted out of the cut on Haru's stomach before merging with the blood flowing from granny Xi's head.
"May I ask why you attacked us without any just cause? We were going to Yuhan Town and had no desire to harm you," the middle-stage middle aged man asked the Shung Yun while covering his bleeding thigh with his hands.
"I wasn't really planning to set a few people ablaze despite how worn out I am of the voices," Shung Yun said as he hung his bow on his belt before clipping it, "my plan was to set dozens of individuals ablaze after I've gotten the inheritance. Celebrating the success of my journey with screams so loud my spirit will get elevated, freeing me from the shackles of my mortal body and bringing me into a realm of godhood."
"Wh...what the hell is he talking about!?" the middle-stage middle aged man and the lower-stage middle aged man wearing a nose ring felt confused at every word spoken by the teenager in front of them.
"But it doesn't matter anymore. If opportunity arises for me to enjoy the song of enlightenment and experience a glimpse of peace, I'll rush at it with my all," Shung Yun said as he walked towards the nose ringed lower-stage middle aged man before taking out his arrow from his left shoulder.
"Urrw!" the lower-stage middle aged man groaned as the arrow left his shoulder.
"Let me try it again," Shung Yun muttered before stabbing the blood headed arrow on the lower-stage middle aged man's right thigh.
"Ahhh!!" the lower-stage middle aged man wearing a nose ring screamed out in pain as the arrow stabbed into his right thigh.
"Listen pass the scream, Shung Yun. Search for the vibration of the song of enlightenment in the scream and stay on it," Shung Yun mumbled with his eyes closed as he paid attention to the scream increasing the painful aches in his head.
Hearing the sound of the scream reducing, he pulled out his arrow before stabbing it into the lower-stage middle aged man's right thigh again.
"Ahhhhh!!" the lower-stage middle aged man screamed louder as his eyes became bloodshot.
