"Ubei, how many of your kind in this forest are stronger than you?" Shung Yun asked Ubei as they trailed behind Byui Tang's horse.
"More than eighty-two [82] of my kind, my king," Ubei said, "I don't really know the actual number."
"Why is that?" Shung Yun asked curiously.
"The Byui village and the Quing village made sure that no king of the entire forest emerged from my kind," Ubei conveyed to Shung Yun, "so they made sure to send their cultivators with full-rank upper-stage fierce beast's strength to kill any of my kind that dares to form a family of more than two hundred [200] beasts. That makes it hard for my kind to gather information if we don't search for it."
"That's quite intelligent of them," Shung Yun said as he kept his eyes on the road, "have any idea of how many upper-stage fierce beasts will therefore be here?"
"Maybe, fifty [50] or sixty [60] of them," Ubei said as he slowed down in accordance with the horses in front of him, "we'll arrive at Pugha's territory if we continue."
"Who's Pugha?" Shung Yun asked Ubei.
"Pugha is a full-rank middle-stage shadow panther. He's one of the middle-stage fierce beasts in the forest that's stronger than me," Ubei said to Shung Yun.
"What do you think of making him your friend?" Shung Yun asked.
"I will prefer him as my subordinate, my king," Ubei said as the cavalry slowed down to a walking pace.
"Hahaha! I would love to see the look on his face when you give him commands," Shung Yun laughed as the cavalry got closer to Pugha's territory.
"You should be careful, my king. Pugha isn't easy to deal with," Ubei said.
"I got it," Shung Yun said, "seniors should listen up."
"What is it, Shung Yun?" Shung Wen asked as he stopped his horse.
"Ubei said that a full-rank middle-stage shadow panther is in charge of the territory a dozen or so meters in front of us," Shung Yun said to the elite soldiers.
"I, Shung Wen, and Taichu Hong can deal with a full-rank middle-stage beast on our own. It's you that I'm worried about," Byui Tang said to Shung Yun.
"I'm sure I will be fine," Shung Yun said as Ubei stopped moving.
"Alright. We'll move forward on foot from here," Byui Tang said as he came down from the back of his horse, "Byui Lui, take care of the horses."
"Get back early so you'll take back your job," Byui Lui said while looking at Byui Tai.
"I bet I will be faster than you in spreading the Urn powder," Byui Tai said to Byui Lui.
"I'll have to be dead for years before that happens," Byui Lui said as he took the halter of each horse before walking towards the biggest tree around.
"Then just wait and see," Byui Tai contended.
"I will," Byui Lui said as he began tying up the horses.
"Stay close, Byui Tai," Byui Tang said aloud a few meters from the spot they left Byui Lui.

Hearing several roars from dense trees in front of them, the elite soldiers began taking out their weapons from its straps or sheaths.
"Seems like they've sensed us," Shung Yun said while riding on Ubei's back.
"Shadow panthers has more powerful sensory organs than my jade horn deer lineage," Ubei said as he began picking up hints of the shadow panthers' locations.
"Who's faster than between the both of you?" Shung Yun asked Ubei.
"He is," a bad feeling sprouted in Ubei's mind as he answered his king's question.
"I will be having a new mount then," Shung Yun said before sensing Ubei slowing down, "why are you slowing down?"
"Can my king not forsake me after submitting Pugha?" Ubei asked in a low voice.
"You're the one who said he's better than you in both speed and sensory organs. Why won't I choose him as my mount?" Shung Yuns asked as he looked at Ubei.
"Although, Pugha might be faster than me right now, but that won't be for long," Ubei said.
"Oh! Tell me what idea you have in surpassing him?" Shung Yun asked as he got intrigued by Ubei's words.
"I will undergo mutation with Pugha," Ubei said gravely.
Understanding what mutation meant, Shung Yun's curiosity led him to ask a question, "how do you undergo mutation with Pugha?"
"Through a blood ritual, my king," Ubei said with fear revolving across his eyes.
"They're more of them than those of Shung Yun's beast," Byui Tai said as he looked at the nine [9] shadow panthers in front of him.
"I will handle two[2] semi-rank middle-stage shadow panthers and a low-rank middle-stage shadow panther in the pack while Shung Yun's beast will handle the last semi-rank middle-stage shadow panther and a low-rank middle-stage shadow panther," Byui Tang said as he swung his hammer around, "the last three [3] low-rank middle-stage shadow panthers will be taken care of by you. Got it?"
"Yeah," Byui Tai said as he swung his saber around.
"Then let go restrain some beasts!" Byui Tang said as he dashed towards the shadow panthers in front of him.
"Roar!!" the biggest shadow panther roared as he gave an order to his underlings.
"With pleasure!" Shung Yun squatted on Ubei's back before jumping towards Pugha with his battle-axe descending together with him.
Seeing the human and his axe getting bigger, Pugha leaped upward before clawing at the descending axe with as much strength as he can.
Boom!! Bam!! Bam!!
Smashed down by the human's battle-axe, he bounced twice on the ground before rolling further away from Shung Yun.
"I can't completely defeat him without my thrumming Qi," Shung Yun thought as Pugha got up on his limbs, "time to beat the drum."
Having an idea on how his thrumming Qi worked after feeling it twice, he let go of every thoughts in his mind, leaving only his zeal to battle and defeat Pugha.

Sensing his Qi beating faster and faster in his meridians, an unknown strength course through Shung Yun's body as a ferocious aura exploded out of him.
"Roar!!" Pugha roared as he cycled cautiously around Shung Yun.
"Bring it on!" Shung Yun yelled as he shot towards Pugha with his battle-axe slashing horizontally at him.

Sending blood splashing out of his right paw after clashing head-on with Shung Yun's attack, Pugha struggled to get back on his limbs as he suspended his right limb in the air.
Not losing much momentum from his clash with Pugha, Shung Yun continued dashing towards him with his battle-axe shredding through the upper layer of the earth.
Strengthening his will, Pugha dropped his right limb on the ground before pushing himself away from the approaching Shung Yun.
"Submit or die!" Shung Yun pressed his right foot on the ground before throwing himself towards Pugha.
Sensing a dreadful aura quickly drawing towards him, Pugha turned his head to see his opponent once again descending on him with his battle-axe falling together with him.
"Who the hell are you!!" unable to dodge the descending battle-axe, Pugha roared as he swiped his left uninjured claw at the descending battle-axe.
"Your king!" Shung Yun roared as his battle-axe clashed with Pugha's left claw.
Slllch!! Bam!!
Tearing through half the left limb of Pugha, his Qi began moving faster as the ferocious aura around him spiked up.
Having a blood covered battle-axe stuck to the ground in front of him, Pugha felt great terror as puddles of blood poured down his torn left limb.
"Submit or die!" Shung Yun's voice was deep as he looked straight at Pugha.
