Mira's eyes sparkled with gratitude.
"Congratulations, Sis." Apophis ruffled her hair. "Looks like you're going to accomplish your dream of being even scarier."
Mira brushed her hair aside confidently "As if I needed any more help with that."
From the perspective of her parents, Mira was as cute as a newborn baby.
