"Just to make it clear, I have no plans in violating any rule in our contract. I want to do nothing with Jasper. Nothing like what you are thinking," Lauren broke the silence first.
"What do you want from him then?" Alec asked, looking straight at her as they were sitting across from each other. "If it has something to do with your plans, as your partner I believe I have the right to know."
Lauren sighed. "It concerns my plans, yes. But it doesn't directly involve you, and didn't we agree to play each other's part while respecting boundaries? You said you have your own world and there are some things that don't require my knowledge, it is the same with this. I can handle things perfectly alone so you don't have to worry."
