While Noelle couldn't pay attention to her surroundings because of the pain in her head, Princess Iris turned around and saw Alec standing by the cell's doorway.
Alec's eyes were so cold and dark that the vampiress felt a shiver of fear run down her back. She had encountered many vampires before, mostly from high society, but Alec's commanding presence and devious aura were unlike anything she had encountered before.
"You seem to have found yourself lost in my dungeon, Princess Iris," Alec said, his voice low and filled with danger.
The vampiress chuckled, attempting to mask her nervousness. "Well, I was curious to see what Evardin's castle dungeon looks like. I hope you don't mind, Your Majesty."
However, the vampire didn't look pleased, causing her chuckle to die down, and she felt more nervous than ever before in her life.
