Luke found this particular maid somewhat familiar. He couldn't recall the incident of meeting her, but her face…the shape, the auburn hair, the sharp facial features, he didn't know why he felt like he had met her before.
Luke found this odd. It was only his second time coming to Evardin, and the first time was many years ago. He was around sixteen years old, he guessed, when he accompanied his father to a royal banquet here.
"I don't think that is possible, Your Highness," Noelle replied after a moment of pondering what to say.
It couldn't be possible. Before Annie, her older sister, died a year ago, she told Noelle that they had only lived in Aviore since they were born. She was a mere commoner, so how could she meet a royal, especially from a faraway land?
"You must have mistaken me for someone else," Noelle added.
'But she looks really familiar. I don't know why. I guess she resembles someone I've met before.'
