"You three," Dorothy called Noelle and her two friends who had just descended the stairs in the servants' hall. It was early in the morning, barely six, and they just left their quarters to start the day.
Dorothy was in the hall, talking with the maids. Noelle, Jenny and Isabel went to them. Noelle then realized that Dorothy was briefing the maids and assigning personal servants to the special guests since they would be staying in the palace for a few days.
Jenny and two other maids were assigned to Princess Seraphine, the first princess, while Isabel and two maids were assigned to Prince Dominic, the second prince.
Meanwhile, Noelle was assigned to Prince Luke.
"You will follow your masters everywhere they go unless they tell you to stay put. Your duty ends on bedtime, and the palace's bedtime is ten in the evening."
