Before she fell on her knee, Edith plunged her sword into the ground to gain support, coughing blood.
'This is not good.'
The vial of rectifier she consumed could only restrict the poison in her body for a couple of hours at most. It had been almost two hours since she took the rectifier and she could feel her body weakening.
Even if she took another vial of rectifier now, it would be of no use. The black mage's dark magic was mixed with a poison spell, one that was stronger than any poison spell she had encountered before.
This fact brought a glint of dread to Edith's eyes. It only meant the black mages had indeed evolved. They were stronger and could wield more powerful magic. She suspected that a very powerful individual was behind this change.
"General, are you alright?" One of Edith's subordinates noticed her bad state and went to her.
