"Are you trying to embarrass me?" Lauren asked in disbelief.
"I'm not." There was no mockery in Alec's tone. He was dead serious.
Her brows were pulled together, eyeing him sharply. Even though he was seriously concerned with her well-being, she would rather die than tell anyone else what caused the soreness between her legs. She was still a woman with some shame.
