Lauren went to the bakery and the smile on her lips grew bigger when she saw the owners who were an old human couple.
The passersby who saw Alec step out of the carriage and recognized him as the lord who became the crown prince bowed and distanced themselves. Commoners knew well that the elites, especially the royals, never liked associating themselves with lowly people.
"Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! For the past months, I have been craving for your cakes! You can't imagine what kind of relief it gave me when I saw your bakery open again," Lauren said which brought bright smiles to the couple's faces.
