Chapter 235 - Chapter 235

the twenty armed groups were not all vile, some had no choice but to obey their benefactor even most of the time they were illegal and against the law, even since drastic changes were implemented in their lord's land, they never expected their lives would be affected by the sudden appearance of the Chimera art but their lord use this opportunity to gain more as they monopolize the fear and control over the populace. As the Chimera art spread, it became a tool for their lord to manipulate and oppress those who dared to oppose their rule.

many just succumb to these oppressive tactics, living in constant fear and submission under the eyes of the king. They used many strategies to suppress any form of resistance. The lord's henchmen were trained to instill fear and enforce obedience, while propaganda was spread to portray the Chimera art as a divine power that only the lord possessed. Those who resisted faced severe consequences, with their families and loved ones being targeted as well.

The noble lord's reign of terror seemed unstoppable, leaving the people trapped in a cycle of oppression and despair as the king and his entire family regretfully saw that nothing was wrong, continuing to live their lives in ignorance. The lord's control extended beyond physical force, as he also manipulated the economy, ensuring that those who opposed him struggled to survive. This created a sense of hopelessness among the people, making it even harder for them to gather the courage to challenge their rule.

so even if they were not criminals they had to create a situation where they could feed their loved ones and give them a sense of protection against those who were using them for illegal acts, the drastic change in the royal household of Corvania made them hide their actions and were a force to live in the shadows, fearing the consequences of being exposed. They resorted to covert operations and adopted a clandestine lifestyle, constantly evading the watchful eyes of the authorities. This underground existence became their only means of survival in a world that had turned against them.

the chimera ant infestation was a perfect camouflage as these creatures were eusocial insects and were more interested in expanding their race rather than indulging in the oppression and persecution of the marginalized group. The chimera ants' relentless pursuit of growth and dominance inadvertently provided a temporary respite for those living in the shadows, as their attention was diverted towards their own expansion. This unexpected turn of events allowed the marginalized group to find solace in the chaos, albeit temporarily, until they could devise a more permanent solution to their predicament.

But their overwhelming number was driving many people and other inhabitants to the brink of extinction. The marginalized group realized that they needed to act swiftly and strategically in order to protect themselves and their way of life. They began organizing hunts and gathering resources to sustain themselves, forming alliances with neighboring communities who shared their concerns.

Through these efforts, they were able to establish a system of defense and ensure their survival in the face of adversity. because of the chimera ant vast number the landscape and source of food were severely impacted many isolated themselves to secure their lives as the ants ravaged the land Some communities even built fortified structures and implemented strict rules to prevent the infiltration of the chimaera ants, while others devised strategies to lure the ants away from their settlements. Despite the challenges posed by the ant invasion, these communities displayed resilience and adaptability, ultimately safeguarding their lives and preserving their way of life.

At the same time, King Araqiel Semalion Demiurgos of Corvania finally saw that placing his trust in the nobles to handle the situation was left disappointed as they proved to be ineffective in dealing with the ant invasion. Realizing the gravity of the situation, King Araqiel took matters into his own hands and personally led a team of skilled warriors to confront the chimera ants head-on. but it was too late as the ants had already multiplied and spread throughout the kingdom. The once prosperous land of Corvania now faced the daunting task of reclaiming its territory and eradicating the relentless ant invasion.

Allatou Estrith Demiurgos, the ruler of the twelve realms and a powerful being in her own right, arrived on the scene with her son. Their arrival was unexpected yet timely, as they swiftly and effortlessly decimated the chimera ants using their remarkable power and strength. The siblings fought side by side until the threat was completely eradicated, leaving the once formidable army of chimera ants reduced to mere ashes. As the dust settled, Allatou and her son stood victorious, their presence radiating an aura of power and dominance.

With their mission accomplished, they turned to leave, their heads held high and their spirits soaring. The people who had witnessed their incredible display of power were left in awe, whispering praises and legends about the unstoppable duo.

Allatou and her son knew that their work was not yet done, as there were still other dangers lurking in the shadows, waiting to be vanquished by their unstoppable force. at that moment King Araqiel Semalion Demiurgos of Corvania saw the importance of chance in how he managed his kingdom and his eyes were finally opened that being just a king was not enough to secure long-lasting peace and happiness for his citizens, The monarchy Form of government still has many flaws that can span across executive, legislative, and judicial domains.

He realized that a more inclusive and strict system was necessary to address these flaws and ensure the well-being of his people. Inspired by the ideals of equality and justice, King Araqiel embarked on a journey to transform Corvania into a constitutional monarchy, where power would be shared with elected representatives and the voices of all citizens would be heard.

this was the turning point that made many nobles lose their title and power, as their authority was now limited by the new system. However, King Araqiel believed that this redistribution of power would lead to a fairer society, where decisions were made collectively and the needs of the people were prioritized over individual interests. thus these twenty heavily armed warriors approaching them were working under the rule that King Araqiel was trying to change and  dissolve,

the eventuality of having this change was not made in a single day, it was a culmination  of events that  turned  their land into what it is today, many  just saw this as another passing storm that usually happens in a daily basis as the royal family was more focused on those who were  around them and were oblivious to those far from their influence, the  people  living  under their rule were living in  double life as they  walk a  path that was  filled with uncertainty and doubt,

even with all their effort to  make  their land  free from this problem that still linger in the heart of  everybody, that is why many still roam the land as fugitives and outlaws  far from the eyes and  rule of the king,

Alpha was not given any order besides to protect his master  so  with this in mind she  just  defended her king until  given a command otherwise, Alpha ran and showed her power to send fear in their  body so they would leave unharmed, some were reluctant to even  move,  but as for the rest greed has already consumed their  mind,  for them this was the greatest opportunity they could ever gain,

they walked in a formation surrounding their target and were already prepared to face the beast, The mage cast their spell and made sure to enchant their team members to the fullest, each step like running into the heart of a raging storm, each step sharp gut of wind would cut their clothing and even their skin, the force the wolgan was exerting was strong enough to make their entire body feel like they were made of straw, yet they pressed on with unwavering determination. The team knew that defeating the beast was crucial to protecting their lives and family, and they couldn't afford to falter now. With every painful step, their resolve grew stronger, fueling their greed to bring down the formidable beast.

Alpha  size grew bigger to intimidate the  hunters even more, but  they were all dead focused in their pray, the fear and survival instict were too big to  let this great prize escape them, they did not even notice the change in their surroundings as the miasma from the lake was slowly dissipating  and  gradually healing the land,

half of the hunters were almost near Alpha and could deliver an attack, Alpha was getting annoyed at the fact she couldn't leave her position as Ramiel was still in a meditative posture and was hidden from the eyes of the attacker's vision, The hunters, skilled and experienced, were on the verge of launching a powerful assault against Alpha. Frustration grew within her as she realized that she was trapped in her position due to Ramiel's concealed presence, preventing her from making a strategic move.

long distance attack spells were cast from Alpha's position, aiming to weaken the hunters before they could reach her. However, she knew that without Ramiel's support and guidance, her chances of successfully defending herself were dwindling. The pressure mounted as she desperately searched for a way to break free from the constraints of her current predicament.

her body armor can only provide limited protection against the relentless onslaught of spells, leaving her vulnerable and exposed. Alpha's mind raced, trying to devise a strategy that would turn the tide in her favor. She knew she had to act quickly before her energy and resources were completely depleted. With each passing moment, the hunters closed in, their determination evident in their relentless pursuit. Alpha's heart pounded in her chest as she weighed her options, knowing that one wrong move could cost her everything. The weight of the situation became increasingly heavy as she realized that time was running out and she needed to find a solution quickly before it was too late.

She never expected that protecting somebody important was hard and she can imagine what her master feels when he is determined to protect everybody who is important to him, even at the risk of his own life. Alpha knew that her master's unwavering dedication was a testament to his character and the depth of his love for those he cared about. It was a reminder that sometimes, the hardest battles are fought not with physical strength, but with the strength of one's heart and convictions.

Ramiel was not foolish, and just randomly killed, he usually assessed the situation while gaining some needed information about the enemy, and even for a  limited time accompanying him, she was able to view his inner mind, and saw that he usually used any opportunity for his gain, weather being violent and overwhelming the target.

However, she also noticed that his master  had a deep sense of justice and a strong moral compass. He would only resort to violence when he believed it was necessary to protect the innocent or achieve a greater good. This complexity in his character intrigued her and made her question her initial judgment of him.

Alpha just continued to protect and uphold her task, even if was being bombarded with their relentless assault in all directions, the twenty attackers were also convinced that the creature was protecting a very valuable item, a question ran into their minds as they imagined what might this be, fueling their drive to overpower Alpha. Despite the chaos and danger, Alpha remained steadfast, never once resorting to violence. This unwavering commitment to nonviolence only deepened the mystery surrounding the valuable item, leaving the attackers even more curious and determined to uncover its secrets.

The attackers, aware of her diminishing mana, had meticulously planned their assault, equipping themselves with an array of forbidden items. Among these was the notorious Berserker potion, infamous for its detrimental impact on the user's mental faculties. Its consumption was strictly prohibited across all 12 realms due to the severe strain it placed on the mind, making it a power only those born with natural abilities or possessing Beastfolk lineage could hope to control.

But the attackers were desperate and willing to take any risk to defeat her. They knew that the Berserker potion could give them the temporary boost they needed to overpower her, even if it meant sacrificing their own sanity in the process. Even mages were given this illegal substance to amplify their power and unleash devastating spells. The potion's potency was unmatched, but its side effects were well-known: hallucinations, uncontrollable rage, and eventual mental deterioration. However, the attackers believed that victory at any cost was worth the potential price they would pay for using such a dangerous substance.

After using all of her mana for an hour to effect this shift, Alpha, a 15-foot-tall scary stand, was now gradually shrinking back to her original size. Her body suffered a tremendous amount of damage, making her frail and exposed. She recognized the risks, but she also knew that to recover control of the situation, she would have to temporarily give up her power. However, she made the incorrect decision by not using her mana effectively. She discovered that she lost energy far more quickly than she had anticipated, making her considerably more vulnerable to attack. Alpha had learned a bitter lesson, but she was aware that she needed to quickly adapt if she wanted to discover a way to replenish her mana before she got killed.

Her ego was shattered to the point where she realized that her pride had been her downfall. She understood that she still lacked the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage her mana. She knew that humbling herself and embracing a beginner's mindset would be crucial to her survival, and she knew this was the main reason she was killed before in the past, and she was making the same mistake once again. Even with a level of  300, the vast number of highly equipped, trained, and prepared warriors can bring a mightiest like her to her knees.
