Uncle, I and Hailey finally found a good spot to eat. It was located at the center of Lindon Town, It was basically a good restaurant, looking at the Exterior design of the Restaurant. It had some Italian Interior design if I compare it in my previous life.
Then we sat down and ordered some food, While we were waiting for the food, I heard some people gossiping about some sort of organization causing mayhem.
'Hey, did you hear that the "Numbers" are causing a scene at Deuxford?'
'What? How come? I heard Deuxford's security ins't easy to deal with.'
'Yeah we all know that, It's just strange for the Numbers to cause a ruckus there. Don't you think so too?'
'Well, they are Strong individuals... I guess Deuxford isn't that hard for them to attack.'

'Hey Uncle, What are they talking about? What are those Numbers they mentioned?'
'That's an organization called the numbers that are managed by a secret cult in Emperium. They're most likely terrorists.'
'They say that Deuxford's security is very tight, How come they were able to infiltrate?'
'Deuxford's Military security isn't to be belittled with. But according to the informations that were given to us, The Numbers are Higher ranking Mana users. They're a very strong group.'
'Why do they do this kind of stuff? Isn't the monsters outside of Emperium our enemies?'
'We still don't know their reason either, Anyway why do you keep asking about this things? It's not good to keep on asking about this kind of matters Especially when you're still a child. Can't you behave just like Hailey?'
'I'm just curious, No need to get angry uncle.'
I guess Terrorists also exists here, I eventually thought that the only enemies here are the monsters outside of our country.
Well anyways, let's forget about those things and just focus on our food. I can't wait to try out their Sesame Pasta.
Before our food arrived, An unknown child kicked the restaurant's door as he entered.

The entire people gathered inside noticed and looked at the boy who just came in, followed with two more adults at his back.
He had black hair and I guess you could say he has an average look.

Seeing the child, He seems to be the same age as me.
'Everyone! Clear out the restaurant! I'll be eating! I don't want to see any peasants in my sight while I eat!'
What an arrogant brat...
After that kid caused a commotion, The people who were eating started leaving one by one.
I didn't understand why'd they leave? Because of some arrogant kid that wanted to eat alone in this whole restaurant?!
The kid started walking towards our table.
'Hey you three, Get out.'
'What do you mean get out?' As Uncle spoke angrily.
'I said.... GET OUT!!!' As the brat yelled infront of our table.
What the heck is wrong with this spoiled brat!? Does he want to die?!
'I'm sorry but we can't do that, We just ordered some food. And we're gonna eat here since we paid for this.' As I stepped in the Not-So-Good Conversation.
'Heh, This peasant... Peasant.... This, beautiful lady..'
His voice changed after seeing me up close, Then suddenly called me a beautiful lady!
I saw him staring at me and I tried to point at Hailey, But the kid shaked his head and confirmed that He was talking about me.
'WHAT DO YOU MEAN BEAUTIFUL LADY!? I'M A GUY!!!' I yelled out of embarrassment of what he just said.
'A GUY!? BUT.. BUT YOU LOOK LIKE A GIRL!'
'I KNOW!!! BUT I'M A GUY! NOT A BEAUTIFUL LADY! THIS ELF RIGHT HERE IS THE BEAUTIFUL LADY! NOT ME YOU IDIOT!'
'What elf? Oh that? You're much more prettier than her.'
'WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? STOP TALKING NONSENSE!!!'
'I'm just stating facts!' As he covered his left eye with his right hand while his left hand was placed on his waist.
'WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU POSING AT!?'
'HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS SCENE IS REALLY FUNNY!' As Hailey and Uncle laughed.
'Ehem, I am Jude Jeager! The son of Jeremy Jeager, And I wanted to eat peacefully... But seeing you pretty lady made me change my mind. You can eat here while I eat also. Hehe. *Wink*'
"Notice, raging emotions are overflowing... Do you want to Activate Mask?"
'Yes, Activate it.'

After activating the Mask skill, I finally calmed down. Then I introduced myself to Jude, He was afterall my cousin. He was shocked upon hearing that I was really a guy rather than being my cousin. I guess looks can rather be deceiving...
So then, we ate our food and Jude joined us at our table. It was too uncomfortable seeing him stare at me from time to time. I guess my hair does make me look like a girl, Seeing it getting longer...
I guess I really need a Haircut now.
While we were eating, Jude and Uncle Jin got to know each other and talked about some stuff that they only enjoyed, Seeing them together makes me wanna go home....
I noticed that Hailey has been quiet all this time, I guess she doesn't feel good? Or maybe..
After eating we bid farewell to Jude, And he also said that he was gonna attend the Academy. I guess we'll be seeing each other some time.
Then we went back to our Inn, took some rest and Uncle headed inside his room to sleep.
And Hailey was still sitting at the living room, It seemed like she was meditating or something.
'Hey, what are you doing? Are you meditating or dozing off?'
'Oh luna, I'm sorry I was meditating. My Mana core is currently hurting from time to time.'
'Huh? Why? Is it some illness?'
'No, It's just when your near reaching the next stage, Your mana core will hurt and you'll need to gather more mana particles to make it more stable. Then It'll somehow advance to the next stage.'
'Oh, so that's how mana works. Okay, Just take your time I'll be accompanying you here since It'll be lonely if you just stayed by yourself.'

As time passed, Hailey finally finished and went to bed. I also felt sleepy and headed towards my room. But after coming inside, I heard a voice.
I looked at the window, I noticed that a guy was running. But there was no one that followed him, So I ran down as fast as I could to follow him. He looked like he needed some help, But I can't determine who was chasing him since I couldn't see anything, even millis didn't detect anything.
After running as fast as I could, I finally caught up to him.
Pant.. Pant... Pant...
'Hey, Mister why were you running around screaming for help?'
'There's... There's something chasing me! Please help me!'
I turned around and looked around, But I couldn't see anything.
Then I felt a sudden pain coming from my back...
I was stabbed by a knife....
Blood came out from my back as it dripped at the Knife's blade and dripped to the ground.
'Hey, what are you--' Before I could speak the guy covered my mouth and nose with a cloth that smelled like cherry blossom perfume.
Before I realized, I already fainted.

I regained my consciousness, Water was being splashed at my head. I was tied to a chair, As I lifted my head I saw the mister who was running earlier, holding an empty bucket. And I noticed there were three more guys standing around.
I guess he was the one that splashed water on my face. And the pain at my back is gone, Did they heal my wound?
"Notice, Secret Skill: Ultra regeneration has been automatically activated."
'Hey millis, why didn't you do something? I got kidnapped!'
"I cannot do anything without the Host's orders."
'Can't you just activate my Haki when I'm at the point of getting kidnapped?'
"Host's Authorization Has been confirmed. Releasing blade Haki."
Blood showered all over the room, The ropes that tied me were suddenly cut. I stood up and saw the bodies lying down at the ground.
'Why do I always get kidnapped? Who the hell could be the culprit?'
"Based on my conspiracy, The Culprit is most likely Jeremy Jeager."
'Are you sure about that millis?'
"I am not 100% sure, But the only Individual capable of doing this is Jeremy Jeager."
'I guess you're right.'
Anyways, where am I?
I looked around the closed area where I was held at and noticed that it looked like some sort of underground Jail. Seeing the concrete walls, I'm sure I was at an underground somewhere.
So I went out and searched around for an escape route... After some time, I was finally able to escape. The Underground Jail I was held at was located near the woods of a forest. So I ran and went back to the Inn, I checked Uncle and Hailey's room to see If they were still there. But I was glad that they were still there sleeping.
So I went to my bedroom and slept, I ordered Millis and gave her Permission to activate my skills If she sense some danger while I'm sleeping.
The next day, I woke up. Same routine, Took a bath, prepared our stuff and went back to our carriage to continue our journey.
But As we went to our carriage, I noticed there were alot of Soldiers scattered around the entire town.
People were acting differently, I was curious so I asked one of the town's folks what was happening.
The guy told me that Jeager household has been murdered, Not a single one was left alive. That's why soldiers were scattered around the area looking for some clues on locating the Culprit that had murdered the Jeager family.
I was shocked... I couldn't speak, I stood there even when the Guy finished what he was saying and left.
I remembered Jude, He was abit arrogant. But As I got to know him, He was much more nicer than how he looked.
'The Jeager family has been killed?'
'Oi, luna! What are you doing there? Come we need to leave already.' As my uncle shouted trying to call for me.
I stood there without making any small movements, I kept thinking about what the guy said. So after reaching to a conclusion, I ran and went to the Jeager household. As I got closer, I saw a crowd standing outside of their gate.
I slipped my way in, I saw a Soldier standing infront of the Gate.
'Hey, Mister! Can I see what's inside!?'
'You can't kid, It's too inappropriate for you to see.'
'But they're my relatives! I need to see what happened to them!'
'Still, even you're a relative I can't let you see.'
'Please! I just need to look at them!'
I wanted to confirm if they were really killed. I just couldn't believe it...
'Fine, follow me. Don't be shocked and try not to vomit when you see them okay?'
'Yes sir!'
As the soldier went inside, I followed him. He opened the door, Blood was scattered around the floor and walls of the interiors of the house. Maids were lying down on the ground covered in blood, The Soldier went to the stairs so I followed. The butler, The one that accompanied Uncle jeremy last night was lying down at the stairs covered in blood, His throat had a severe wound. As we went up to the second floor, A woman was lying down the floor.
'It's the wife of Jeremy Jeager.'
So that's my aunt... I didn't even get to know her.
Then we continued to walk along the corridor at the second floor. As we reached to the last room, The soldier opened the double doors that were covered in blood.
That's when I saw Uncle Jeremy and Jude's body headless. Their corpse were covered in blood, Their heads were missing. I was shocked, even though I hated them at first I still couldn't handle seeing them like this.
'Are you satisfied now kid?'
'Yeah, Thanks.'
Then the Soldier and I went back outside, I was too shocked to ask the soldier, I wanted to know what really happened, What time they got murdered.
'Hey Luna!'
'Over here!'
I saw Uncle Jin and hailey among the crowds waiting for me outside the gate.
'What happened? Why did you suddenly ran?'
'They're dead uncle.'
'Huh? What do you mean dead? And who?'
'Uncle Jeremy and that arrogant brat Jude.'
'What!? How come!? Stop joking around luna.'
'I'm telling you they're dead. All of them, even the maids and butlers along with Uncle jeremy's wife are dead. I don't know what happened but I've seen their corpses inside their house.'
Uncle jin was stunned hearing my words.
'Luna, It's gonna be alright. No need to cry...' As Hailey hugged me.
Cry? Am I crying? That's when I noticed that there were tears coming out from my eyes. Even though they were bastards, They were still our relatives. I felt sad, And activated Mask to suppress my emotions.
'Did you hear that?'
'Someone said that they saw the Numbers sneaking around last night.'
'What? I thought they were at Deuxford!?'
'Some noble household was also killed at Deuxford, I guess they're targeting nobles now.'
'Scary, I'm glad I didn't got to be born as a noble.'
'But speaking of nobles, Why the Jeager? They're not really that famous right?'
'Yeah, But I guess their Main goal is to annihilate the entire Nobles from the Emperium.'
'Those numbers are scary...'
As the crowd gossiped about the numbers, and deaths of nobles. I listened, I guess the Culprits were the Numbers. But who was the one that kidnapped me? If they weren't under uncle jeremy then who?
As I kept thinking, I somehow felt worried about something...
So I immediately asked Uncle to change our route and head home. I was feeling uneasy, I need to check on my family.
But before we could ride our carriage, A guy showed up screaming.
'THE JEAGERS! THE JEAGERS ARE DEAD!'
I felt worried....
'NERO TOWN! THE NUMBERS!'
I felt really worried, and was too scared to hear what the man would say next....
'THE NUMBERS! THE NUMBERS KILLED BARON LUKE AND WENDY JEAGER FROM NERO TOWN!'
That's when my heart ached tremendously....
Hearing the man's words, made me feel scared...
'Uncle, Please head towards Nero.. I need to check my family.' As I spoke, muttering every words that I've said.
'Okay, We'll immediately leave for Nero.'
I knew uncle was also worried, But he didn't show it.
I just wanted to confirm that my family's safe...
That's when we headed back towards Nero Town.
