Five days passed since Erik's training session with Amber.
Yet that wasn't the last training session he had. Erik trained bordering on the obsession and sparred multiple times with Floyd, Gwen, and Amber. Of course, he never won against them, but he learned a great deal about how a fighter should use his weapons during a battle. Though, while Floyd and Amber went easy on him, Gwen didn't.
He improved a lot, and that was mostly thanks to Amber and her superb teaching skills. Even Gwen complimented him, and that was not easy by any means, and Professor McAllister gave him a lot of compliments for his focus.
Though Erik wasn't certain about him being ready for the Red Palace, his confidence had grown enough to at least embrace the challenge. Gone were his earlier doubts about underperforming in the tournament.
