Kaiden got up from the bed, baffled at the news. "You mean, Clyde Wang wants to see me, the famous billionaire or someone else." He couldn't believe his ears.
"Yes,' Clara nodded and also got out of bed. "He said that he loves your music and would like you to see him, and his empire. They want to work with you, don't you get it? He probably likes you and I'm definitely speaking about the billionaire, you have to take a bath quickly, I will call the staff too. Now, I will quickly dress you up like a Prince, you have only an hour."
"This is a dream come true." He blurted out in amazement and he was in love with the moment, the fact he was going to see him soon tickled his soul.
Clara smiled and smirked at him. "You have a crush on him."
"Wait, what." He was stunned at her words. "You can't be serious." He pretended to brush it off, as he coughed.
"I know you are gay, don't worry, I wouldn't tell anyone." She winked at Kaiden who attempted to stop her before laughing happily and running off.
He didn't know he was that transparent.
She was right and wrong. He didn't have a crush on Clyde, he was in love with him.
Not a crush.
He suddenly cackled jovially, leaped out of bed and ran around his room like a kid and hopped on his bed again and again until his head began spinning, gosh, he couldn't wait to see him.
What would he say to him, how would he react, he couldn't say or think of anything that comes to mind, he just wanted to see him so badly.
He was thrilled and he would make sure he put on his best.
An hour passed, and Kaiden was in front of the Empire after passing through the midst of paparazzi with a lot of struggle obliging him for his autograph, and questions about him meeting the billionaire were demanded to be answered. He then unlocked the glass door after being politely told by the receptionist to go inside once he saw the location of the suite and the bodyguards escorted him.
He went inside after using the elevator and there he was waiting for him.
Clyde, as usual, folded his legs across the other and upon sighting Kaiden, he broke into a smile with delight, sitting on a huge golden couch.
Kaiden was starstruck, taken in by his beauty, he didn't know how to start, he was mute.
Clyde noticed his reaction, puzzled at how long he was going to keep on standing and gazing at him which made him smile.
"Welcome to my empire, Kaiden Jiang, if I may presume." He said majestically and Kaiden jerked out of his thoughts and gave a little bow as a sign of respect.
"I'm so sorry for my approach of manners, I couldn't…"
He interrupted. "Take your gaze off me, am I that stunning?' He finished.
Kaiden blushed but tried to hide his smile.
"I've heard so much about you.' Those were the only words Kaiden could come up with.
"What exactly have you heard about me?' He was pretty cute. "Be honest with me.'
Kaiden glanced at his soft expression. "You are handsome, very, very loaded, the finest Alpha who is envied by all genders.' He paused.
"And.' He asked.
Kaiden was trying to choose his words so carefully. "You could buy the world, that's how wealthy you are.' He thought he should stop there.
"No, there's more Kaiden, be reliable with me, I love sincere people.'
"Ok, mhm." He scratched his forehead nervously.
"Don't worry, I won't get mad.' He promised.
"Ok, I also heard, you have a nasty attitude, that you are rude, too proud and a womanizer.' He should have kept shut, why did he say those words to him.
"Hmm…I love your honesty.' He laughed.
"I hope I didn't offend you.' He quickly spoke.
"Not at all, Kaiden.'
Those words "Not at all, Kaiden" warmed his soul with a smile appearing on his face. "Thank you very much, Mr Clyde, thank you.'
"Don't worry, the pleasure is all mine. Think of this place as your second home, feel free, Mr Kaiden." He didn't mean to put the lad in another uncomfortable situation, however he just wanted to hear what he thinks of him, quite curious and he was expecting some sort of lies from him, surprisingly, he was being blunt with him or are these just an act to get on his good side since he will be working and being an idol for the organization.
He didn't know he was going to be seeing him again though, after he is signed, he will have no business with him anymore and they both go their separate ways.
He obliged. "Thank you very much, Mr Clyde, it's a great pleasure to see you in real life, I've always wanted to meet you, I'm your biggest fan."
Clyde was a bit stunned and just chuckled, then got up from his couch with grace. "You are welcome." Enough of the praises. "Follow me, we have a party to catch, Mr Kaiden."
"Yes, Mr Clyde." He obeyed and came next to Clyde to the ballroom as they both put on their masks since it was currently the dress code.
Kaiden and Clyde went to a nearby couch filled with a lot of people and sat down in between them.
Clyde began having deep conversations with some of the directors in the firm, Kaiden couldn't take his eyes off Clyde, he was so perfect and how he interacted with people was so professional, if he was one of the directors he will comply with everything he was saying without hearing the questions, his voice is like a spell to the ears.
He tried to hide his smile, he loved the way Clyde conversed with the men professionally, and he was like an angel.
Clyde then turned to him. "Would you like to work for the Ambrose Empire, Mr Kaiden?"
