*Greeting readers, boy it has been more than a week since I began releasing chapters. I was surprised that I was able to get this far, trying to come up a unique plot along the way.
I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in Fire Emblem, since the trending slightly declined, but thank you for reading my chapters. Now back to the story.*

"Why hello my dearly beloved." Halger leaned his arms on the door as Hera was taking a nap. Lately, they haven't spent time as much together as they wanted. Given that Reginald need to be taken care of and Bjorn throwing a tantrum, but now, things are looking up for Halger.
He had been waiting for an opportunity to finish his nightly duties with Hera, now that the boys were asleep. He made sure that Reginald was sent to the other room supervised so there could be no interruptions.
The motion has been set.
"What took you so long?" Hera giggled.
.....
After a few hours of tumbling and about, they've finally rested.
As they had their fill, Hera leaned her head on his ear.
"Halger, I have another surprise for you." She gleed.
"Not now Hera, I'm pretty spent already. We could continue this tomorrow if you like?" Halger was too tired to go on. Although his soul is willing, the body has taken its toll from all the hunting and administering. He tried to close his eyes.
Hera pouted as she sat on top of Halger.
"Hera, if you keep going, I'll struggle to get my legs to move." Halger opened his eyes to see the bare plum of blossoms.
"We'll be pretty busy for tomorrow. Do you remember what my mother said before she left?"
"That she never seen a blessed couple or something?"
"She said that they would come to visit their grandchild. I'm sure my father would be thrilled." She smiled.
This somewhat caught Halger's attention while he was bewitched by the beauty before him.
"Hmmm? What do you mean?"
"My family are coming tomorrow! Haven't the others told you that? Honestly, if you weren't too preoccupied with your hunts, someone would have told you already."
"What!?"
----------
The next morning, the entire village was in a panic. Normally, people would go on their daily routines on whatever they're doing. However, people were frantically preparing meals, decorating their homes, and even warriors brandishing their gear.
Reginald was caught completely off guard as Hera dressed him up. When he heard his father shouting across the halls, he thought that someone gotten in trouble as they began to ran out the house. However, this caused the entire village to start panicking as well.
"GET THOSE LAMB ROASTED! I WANT TO SEE THOSE BRONZE SHINNING! SOMEONE CLEAN THE CHAIR!" Halger was rushing back and forth as he tried to organize the attendants.
Hera carried Reginald as she went to Bjorn's room.
"Bjorn, you better be dressed to see grandma and grandpa!"
"Ya ya mom, I'll put on some clothes."
Hera left quickly as she needed to do something as well. As of now, she need to check to see if she still has her old necklace given to her by father.
Halger ran up to them as he try to keep his pants up.
"Honey, have you seen my favorite belt? I can't find it!" Halger cried.
"Of course, it's in-"
A horn rang out from the gate.
"They've arrived."
"QUICKLY MEN, GET INTO POSITIONS! JUST LIKE WE REHEARSED!" Halger quickly led his wife to the front of the house. Bjorn joined them shortly after.
For a while, the cold seem to be warmer than usual, as Reginald simply looked around. The guards seemed to be fully geared in armor, but they're extremely outdated, he could see the holes and brittle cracks on them.
He started to wonder which continent he's really on. He remember the smell of the berries Alice had shown. It had a relaxing fragrance with a hint of sweetness to it. He tried to recall Fódlan's cuisine to see if anything like that berry match the description to no avail.
Then, he saw an entourage of people in different clothing. They wore thicker hides on their chest as they kept a woolen hat that seemed to big. Pretty sure they're trying to show off their stature as his father tried to compete against.
There was also a rather large man behind the two old couple. His beard looked heavy as his left eye was blinded with a scar. There were also
He recognized a familiar old women approaching them. If he remembered correctly, her name was Freja.
"Hera, my baby girl!"
"Mama! How was your trip?"
Freja came up to them as she hugged.
"It couldn't be better my dear. We were lucky that the wolves remain dormant this season. May I?" The old women want to see Reginald.
Hera smiled as she gave her son to her.
"Hi little Reginald, do you remember me? Oh yes you do~ it's me, grandma." She cooed. She then turned to a particular old man.
The old man almost seem as tall as the man behind him, with a cleanly trimmed beard and wrinkled eyebrows. His eyes were as sharp as stern bear would.
Perhaps that's Reginald's perspective, but in someone else's eyes, he looked quietly angry.
"Look dear Thover, it's our new grandson!" She smiled as she him showed to her side. The three men appeared before Reginald as they took a closer look.
"Oooo, this one has a brave look in him, he didn't cry when I got close. He's supposed to be a week old, right?" The large scarred man lowered his body.
"I can't believe he's Hera's child, look at that dashing yellow eyes. Not to mention a golden head." The man to his right wore a robe that seem solely for warmth. He wore a knife at his waist, suggesting that's his style.
"Of course he's Hera's child. He was blessed by the gods, wasn't he?" A chubby man to his right said. He was wearing a patch of fur hide with a spear at his back.
"Now now boys, your father want to see the child. Isn't it rude to be in his way? Sobuzzoff."
The three stepped aside as she approached the old grizzly.
Reginald could see some small scars of every detail on him.
The old man stared intently at the baby. The same stare that even made Halger sh@t his pants, and he fight monsters daily.
"Look little Reginald, doesn't he look scary? That's your grandpa."
She then offered Reginald to him, sticking him out in arms reach.
The old man took the baby, retaining his indomitable posture. He looked stately at Reginald, trying to see what kind of baby he is.
Reginald felt quite uncomfortable with the tense atmosphere. How can he break the ice.
'I have no idea what this old man's thinking, but right now my anxiety is prickling up.'
Reginald stared back at his grandfather. It was a standoff between men.
"Ra pa." Reginald blurted out. It was something he remembered in his past life.
"It talked." The old man was stunned.
"Ummm, father in law?" Halger sweated.
Thover Merved turned around as he carried Reginald.
"We're leaving. I have what I came for." Thover quickly turned as his cape simple flush off their expression.
"HOLD ON A SECOND! AREN'T YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING?!" Freja yelled. She frowned as she flashed her teeth.
Thover stopped as he turned his head. He then looked at Hera and Bjorn as he waved at them.
"Hello Hera and Bjorn. Wouldn't you like to come back to my village?"
—————
Inside the halls, Halger sits on his throne as he watch the men eating and partying.
As of now, his brother in laws were enjoying their time. The large man with a scar name is Kalfor Medved, the oldest of the brothers. He has quite a reputation in raiding with their neighbors, with his overwhelming strength and dual axes, he's literally a killing machine. The man who was lavishly dressed was Derik Medved. If he recalled, he had quite a particular charisma which allow him to swoop ladies hearts. And lastly, Peter Medved, the youngest, and chubby, of the three. Not much he heard about him, but he was station as the captain of the village gates. Nevertheless, he does seem polite.
As of now, to his right is his family, where they supper together. To his left however, is his father in law.
Freja was sitting between to Hera and Bjorn as they simply chatted.
"Halger." Thover turned his head.
Although Halger felt that the old man voice seem lenient the last time they've met, but he wouldn't dare to look him in the eyes. Truly, the gods blessed Reginald with courage.
"Yes father in law?" Halger hesitated.
"I'll get right to the point. I want Reginald to visit my tribe. I have been waiting patiently since Freja returned. Now I want to spend time with my grandson." He demanded.
Halger knew that he'd take no for an answer. The stubborn old bear will use any means to have his ways, just like when he kidnapped Hera when she was pregnant with Bjorn.
It was only when she wanted to go back to Halger's side that Thover regrettably accepted.
"I'm sorry father, but I'll have to reject your proposal."
Thover glared at Halger as he gripped the arm rest.
"Why not? I thought we resolved our previous distrust between each other."
Halger anxiety grew. He knows that his diplomatic skills were lacking. Even worse, Thover might try to raise an army and march to Valr.
"Father, that was a different. Hera and I were madly in love with each other."
"And you better be." He remarked.
"But it's different for Reginald. He's too young to go out to explore the vast lands. Not only that, but he's very special."
"So? I'll simply accompany my grandson over. It's only a small trip back to my tribe."
"Even so, I believe it's Ill advised to separate a child from their parents when they haven't matured enough. Just as a calf rely on it's mother, so it does a baby need a familiar face to feel comfortable."
Thover sighed. It seem he's been too forceful in his upcoming. Even so, he still want to experience what a grandparent would feel, just as Halger want to be a father.
"I suppose you're right. However, you have Reginald for too long. I want to see my grandchildren steps before I move on. It's unfair that you get to spend time enough for his first word."
"What do you mean, father?" Halger perked up.
"I'm pretty sure Reginald already learn his alphabets. I'm sure he'll become a great man."
"But father, I never heard Reginald speaking words."
"What do you mean? He said grandpa a short while ago."
"I swear father, I never heard him say anything else."
The two looked at Reginald as he drinks milk from his mother.
