I sensed so many different emotions just from observing the women around me. Hope, excitement, fear, dread, and many other emotions that I couldn’t quite identify painted the expression on the faces of so many beautiful women that were gathered around me.
“For tonight, Carmen Lorenz, congratulations you have been chosen to serve Prince Florian. Please do your very best,” Madame Sand announced.
“Aww…thank you. Thank you everyone…” a gorgeous woman with dark brown hair and very wide eyes said before smiling and blowing kisses to everyone around her.
She raised her arms above her head as if striking a victory pose before lowering it down to wave to everyone. From her reaction, I could guess that she was more than thrilled to have been chosen. Also, it didn’t seem like this was the first time that she had been chosen to spend the night with Prince Florian.
“She won’t be the only one and we all know it…” someone muttered close to me.
