The second night of our journey got little wild, becouse two adventurers tried to rape me. Sadly for them, I have spell that turned them into ice statues that I put up before my tent as a warning for the rest of the adventurers.
Before we were leaving that place the next morning, they both turned into Chilled zombies so I fried them with (Heaven's Flare) spell, effectively scaring the remaining adventurers who thought that they could overpower me with numbers.
We continued without any other incident all the way to the village. But there we realized something was different. We entered the valley and got to see a village with torn down stone walls. As a mage, I realized that the walls were made with magic, but were destroyed by some kind of beast.
As we entered the village, we noticed that all the buildings were completly cleaned. There was no furniture, no windows, not even doors were left behind.
"That monster..." the boy from this village fell to his knees. When I came behind him I saw a half-frozen corpse of a forest elf stabed to death. He was sitting near hole for doors of the biggest house in the village.
"Rest in peace... father," the boy put together his hands in sign of prayer.
'Why did you stopped before calling him father, boy?' I wanted to ask, but decided against it for now.
"Should we burry him?" the leader of adventurers gave one look to the corpse before returning his eyes to my butt.
"Well, well, well! What do we have here?" Everyone jumped to side when they heard a woman's voice that wasn't mine.
Who was standing little to side from from the house next door was an elvish woman that could be thirty years old by eye of human, but by eye of an elf she was actually around three hundread.
"Who are you?" the leader of adventurers barked out.
The elvish woman was covered from head to toe in clothes made from pelts of Zwaihorn wolf, a C rank monster.
"M-Mother?" the boy who lead us here sounded half suprised, half disgussed.
"Mother? Me?" the woman pointed her white finger full of scars at her beautiful face. "While I indeed am a mother, I don't recall giving a birth to a boy. I'm after all a single mother of a one girl," she smiled as she looked at the boy.
"Well, let's leave that asside. My master send me here to tell you this: Leave or die," her voice turned so dark towards the end that I honestly though I would pee myself.
The adventurers took their weapons in their hands as if they though they could beat her.
'You can't beat her boys... you can't even reach her,' I thought to myself as I senced the monsters closing in on us.
"(Fly)" I used magic to rise my altitude in the moment the ground shook and a giant hole opened under our feet, making everyone fall down, "I'm looking for adventurer named Zaru, do you know of him?" I called out to the Forest elf woman standing at the tip of the hole.
"He said you would said that. My master is waiting for you, receptionist Lizzie."
"You know my name?"
"From him, yes." the woman bowed lightly and whistled. Not a moment later, a Winter wolf, an A rank monster appeared. The woman elegantly jump up on the back of the wolf and pointed at the seat next to her, wanting me to join her.
Deciding that I ultimately have no other choice, I jump on the wolf and we rode to the north, leaving the screaming adventurers behind. The wolf carried us north until we reached a cave. The wold rode in it, like if it was the most natural thing in the world.
We went through a gate made from pure darkness and on the other side was a big room with dark pillars. There was many elves, probably the villagers from the village.
"Welcome, Lizzie," the man sitting on the throne said.
I didn't even need to confirm it. I instantly knew who the demon lord is. He may have grown horns, but the eyes and and smile were all proof I needed. I teleported with tears flowing from my eyes, I jumped into Zaru's arms. I cried and cried.
Zaru carressed my hair while smiling. His voice, his smell, everything about him was making me calm. Once again I understood just how much I actally love him.
"Lizzie?" his voice reminded me of the place we were at, but my body didn't want to move. I was sitting on his lap with my arms fixed around his neck.
"I'm just... so happy that you are alive... when those guys returned without you... my heart stopped. But! I still had this! It helped me get back on my feet!" I took out the necklace from under my clothes.
Zaru smiled and taped his finger on the pendant, "This little guy hm?"
I looked Zaru in his charming black eyes, "Zaru... I love you," as I said that, I kissed him on his lips, not wanting to let go ever again.
