"Angel, .......Angel .....Angel,...bitch wake up." Hugh said into my ear.
"Your parents said they will be here in about an hour. Come on go freshen up you lazy oaf." He said as he shook me.
I groaned and sat up. I looked down and saw that I was still wearing my dress from last night.
"I'll make breakfast, go freshen up, you stink." He said while he scrunched his nose in disgust. I lifted my hand to smell myself. Then I looked at Hugh with a 'really' look.
"I don't even smell bad." I said as I got up to go take a shower. He just laughed and made his way out of my room closing the door behind him.
I striped and took a long warm shower. After my shower I walked into my closet to choose what to wear. The closet was pretty big, it could literally be a room of itself. I wore a thin black turtle neck with a hoodie on top and dark brown sweatpants, and white socks.
I walked out of the room to the smell of eggs. I walked towards Hugh who was next to the stove.
"Are you making scrambled eggs?" I asked Hugh when I was right behind him.
"JESUS !!!" Hugh yelled jumping away from me.
"What?" I asked with a confused face.
"You scared the shit out of me bitch. You can't do shit like that. I almost had a heart attack. I get that you were trained and shit to walk like that but Jesus wear a fucking cowbell or something." Hugh said sounding exasperated.
I giggled. "But Hugh that's how I always walk." I said laughing at his comment.
"What are you making?"
"Egg toast." He said with a grin on his face. The doorbell rang interrupting us.
"Must be your parents, go get it." He said. I walked to the door and opened it revealing, my dad's, smiling at me.
"Morning bunny." They both said with a smile.
"Morning." I said with a smile while they both hugged me.
They made there way into the apartment admiring the work Hugh did. They greeted Hugh with a hug as well, then sat at the table in the middle of the kitchen.
I went into the kitchen to set the table. I climed the counter because I was too short to reach the cubored. While I was on the counter I heard laughter behind me. I turned around to see my parents and hugh laoughing at my height. I pouted but ignored them as I took out some glass cups and ceramic plates, and set them on the table. I cut up some fruits and took out the jug of orange juice that was in the fridge and placed them on the table as Hugh put the toasts on the table.
We said our prayers then digged into the food enjoying the taste. After breakfast I cleaned the table and washed the dishes as Hugh and my parents made there way to the living room. When I was done I made my way to the living room as well.
Daddy ushered me over and pulled me into his lap as he hugged me.
"We're going to miss you so much." He said with a wobbly voice as he buried his head in my neck.
"Daddy, I'm going to miss you guys too, I'll come visit anytime I can I promise." I said as I hugged him back with tears in my eyes, burying my head in his neck. I felt another weight on my back as dad hugged the both of us.
"Be good, ok?" He said as he hugged the both of us.
He then looked at his watch and stood up.
"Come on Sylvester it's time for us to go." Dad said as he walked towards Hugh.
"Take care of her OK? Both of you take care of yourselves and each other ok?" He said to both Hugh and I.
"I will pa." Hugh said with a smile as he hugged Lincoln. He calls them pa because he also sees them as parents even though they are not related.
Daddy finally let me go and stood up. Then they both hugged and kissed me one more time before making there way to the front door. Before they could leave they turned around and said.
"Love you guys. And don't do anything stupid."
They said as they walked out. I sighed while Hugh came next to me and hugged me, as I sobbed a little.
"Hey it's OK. We will visit them anytime we have a break ok?" He said while kissing my forehead. I sighed into his chest and nodded my head.
After I calmed down a bit, I became grumpy and sad. So to cheer me up Hugh took us out to get some ice cream.
"Is it far?" I asked Hugh with a pout.
"No, it's a walking distance from here." He said as he dragged me out of the apartment. While we were in the elevator my phone started to ring in my hoddie pocket. I took it out of my pocket and smiled at the caller ID.
"Hello."
"Hey girl, how are you?" Eliyanna said happly.
"I'm doing ok just a little sad. My parents left today." I said as my smile slowly faded away.
"Awww, then who are you staying with?" She asked.
"I'm staying with my bestfriend, Hugh." I said.
"Oh wow that's cool. Anyways, I was calling to see if you wanted to hang out with me and Rachel. You can even invite your friend Hugh." She said hopefully.
"Oh, umm, sure why not. Here let me just ask him real quick." I said as I pulled the phone away from my ear and placed it on my chest.
"Hey Hugh, Eliyanna want's to hang out with us, can we go?" I asked, as the elevator doors opened up into the lobby.
"Sure" he said with a smile. I placed the phone back on my ear and told Eliyanna that he said yes.
She then gave us the address on where to meet and surprisingly it was the same ice cream parlor Hugh was going to take us to. On our way there Hugh called Wesley to inform him of where we were, which he was not happy about because we were not supposed to leave the building without him, but we used our charm on him and he calmed down a bit.
When we got to the parlor surprisingly they were already there waiting for us. Rachel and Eliyanna, were seated at a little booth as Eliyanna waved us over. We made our way to the booth and I introduced them to Hugh, and they seemed to like him.
Hugh and Eliyanna hit it off directly leaving Rachel and I out the conversation.
"So Angel, Eliyanna said that you moved here to work, where are you going to be working?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah, I am going to be working for Dark industries. I have an interview there tomorow for the secretary posotion." I said with a smile.
"Oh my, what a coincidence I work there to. I am Ronamis's personal assitant. I thought you looked familier yesterday. I had to reviewe resumes that were submmited, and saw yours. By the way your resume is outstanding, I think that you will do great on the interview." She said.
"Wow that's nice at least I will have someone I will know there." I said with a smile.
We then ordered our food and talked some more while waiting. While waiting I couldn't help but ask about the guys.
"Hey, where are the guys?" I asked.
"They said they had some business to take care of. And besides it is a very bad idea to hang out with them in public they are really popular among the women of Seattle." Eliyanna said.
"Yeah, the news papers and news outlets refers to them as Seattle's four devil bachelor's." Rachel said, in a kind of whispered voice.
"I mean who can blame them, they are young, handsome, rich, and successful. Who wouldn't want them." Hugh said as well.
"Oh that's nice." I said not really knowing what to say. I really wasn't one to gossip.
We talked a bit more before our food came. We ate and talked even more, and I found out that Aeron and Erix both own a huge successful Tech company and are in partnership with Dark industries and Jordien Franchise.
We all got to know each other much more.We bonded a little more before it got dark and most of us had work the next day but we promised to meet each other again. Hugh exchanged numbers with them, before we said our goodbyes and made our way home.
When Hugh and I got back home, we showered and turned in for the night, while I kept thinkning about the events that happened today.
I was happy. Maybe it was a good idea to accept my parents proposal about working here. Thanks to this decision I have made a few new friends.
But somthing was kind of making me nervous because I found out that I was going to be interviewed by Ronamis himslef. But I pushed the thought away and let sleep consume me.
