The next morning, Hailey wakes up in an empty bed. She looks around for Jason, smelling food in the air. She then gets up out of bed and walks to the living room and sees Jason practicing on a wing chun wooden dummy. Hailey is amazed by Jason's fluent movements.
"You look kinda hot doing that." Hailey jokingly says.
Jason smirks then walks over and the two kiss each other.
"Good morning. I made breakfast."
Hailey is surprised by this.
"You? Cook?" She asks.
"Yeah. A little bit. I Just know what I see on TV really." Jason says.
Hailey sits down and has a bite of the food, amazed by how good it is.
"Oh my God. Jason, this is delicious." Hailey says.
Jason chuckles.
"Really?" Jason asks.
"Yeah. Seriously, this is really good." Hailey says.
Jason can't help but smile at the compliment. Hailey then looks over at the wing chun dummy that Jason was using.
"So what is that thing anyway?" Hailey asks.
"It's a wing chun dummy."
"Oh ok. How does it work?" Hailey asks.
Jason smiles, then gets up from his chair.
"I'll show you. Come here." Jason says,
He then places her infront of the wooden dummy, guiding her hands and showing her how to properly use the dummy. As the two laugh, Hailey's phone goes off, causing her to stop so she can look at it.
"Shit! It's my dad. And he is pissed." She says.
Hailey quickly runs and grabs her things in a hurry.
"I have to go, but I had a great time last night. I'll see you at school later." Hailey says, giving Jason a kiss on the cheek.
Jason smiles, pulling her back in with a real kiss.
"So did I." Jason says.
Hailey is very flustered by this, blushing and laughing as she walks out of the door. As Jason smiles, he gets a call himself from Richard Salvatore.
"Hey kid. Nice work on handling that little problem for us, really appreciate it." Richard says.
Jason sighs.
"A deals a deal. I want to speak to Frank." Jason says.
"How about you come see him. He's here with us, discussing the terms of our new partnership." Richard says.
Jason is confused.
"Partnership?"
"See ya when you get here, buddy."
Before Jason can ask any further questions, Richard hangs up the phone. A few minutes later, Jason walks into the house to see Frank sitting and laughing with Marco and Richard, surrounded by multiple men. While Jason is even more confused by this as they all get excited at the sight of him.
"Hey, Jason! We were just talking about you." Frank says.
"Yeah. come in, come in." Marco says.
Jason doesn't move an inch, keeping a serious expression on his face.
"What's going on?" Jason asks.
Frank walks over, putting his arm around Jason.
"I've worked out a little business arrangement with Mr. Salvatore here. Got you a job as the Salvatore Families personal hit man." Frank says.
Jason gets angry when he hears this, shoving Frank away.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Have you not been listening to a word I've said?" Jason angerly says.
"Woah kid, what's the problem?" Frank asks.
"I told you, I'm done. I don't want to kill anyone anymore. Especially not for these guys." Jason says.
Marco then stands up.
"Kid, calm down. Come on, take a seat." Marco says, putting his hand on his shoulder.
Jason pushes him off.
"Don't touch me." Jason says.
At that moment, the group of men start to surround him while reaching for their guns. One of the men then grabs Jason by the arm.
"You really need to calm down, boy. Before things get ugly for you." The man says.
Jason then punches the man in the throat, takes his gun and flips him over on the ground, putting his foot on the side of his face. He then aims his gun at Marco as the rest of the men aim their guns at the young man.
"Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah." Frank says.
"This went south so fast." Richard says.
Marco puts his hands up in the air as sweat drips down his forehead.
"Take it easy, kid. Don't do anything you're going to regret." Marco says.
"I did what you wanted. Now we're done. Do we understand each other?" Jason asks.
An intense silence passes through the room.
"Fine with me." Marco says.
"Me too." Richard adds.
Jason then takes his foot off of the mans face, taking apart the gun and walking away. Frank then goes to follow Jason.
"Just let me talk to him. I'm sure we can work this out." Frank says.
As the two get outside, Frank tries to stop Jason.
"Kid, hold up! What's the matter?" Frank asks.
Jason angerly turns around.
"What's the matter? Are you kidding? These guys kidnapped you to blackmail me and you're in there trying to work out a deal without me knowing!?" Jason yells.
"Hey, it was a simple misunderstanding. Besides, if you want to get technical, none of this would have happened if you just did the job that was asked of you." Frank says.
Jason scoffs.
"Yeah right... People say "shoot" and I'm supposed to shoot, no questions asked, right?" Jason asks.
"Yes! At least that's how it used to be. Then you went to that school and all of a sudden things changed. Now I didn't understand why you wanted to keep going to the school, but I respected the decision, that's why I worked out this deal. So you could stay here and we can make money." Frank says.
Jason smirks.
"Yeah, that deal was for me... putting a gun in my hand, teaching me how to kill... that was all for me." Jason says.
"Hey, I taught you how to survive. I took you in, gave you the tools you needed to provide for yourself. Without me, you'd be in a gutter somewhere. How ungrateful can someone be." Frank says.
Jason gets even more angry, getting in Franks face.
"Lose my number, Frank. I'm done." Jason says.
Jason then walks away.
"Jason? Kid!? We're not done! You don't get to say when we're done! JASON! GET BACK HER!" Frank yells.
Jason doesn't look back, throwing away his gun and continues to walk. Later on, Hailey's dad drops her off infront of the school.
"I said I was sorry. I just wanted to hangout with my friends." Hailey says.
Her father let's out a sigh.
"I know, pumpkin. I just worry about you girls. I want to keep you and your sister safe, no matter what. And now, with another body popping up, I'm even more of a overprotective dad." He says.
Hailey smiles.
"I know, dad." Hailey says
She then gives her father a kiss on the cheek.
"Love you."
Officer Donovan smiles.
"Love you too, pumpkin. And you're still grounded." He says.
After he drives away, Hailey turns around and sees Jason waiting for her on the front steps of the school. Hailey smiles and walks over to him.
"Hey, stranger. What are you standing alone like this."
"Oh, I'm just waiting for my girlfriend." Jason says.
Hailey's grins ear to ear when she hears this.
"Girlfriend, huh? I like the sound of it." She says.
The two kiss each other, while Zach and Britney watch from the background quietly cheering for them. When they finish kissing, Hailey notices a big smile on his face.
"What?" Hailey asks.
Jason continues to smile.
"I'm just... really happy right now." Jason says.
Hailey smiles back at him and the two walk into the school together.
